Comments about The Berenstain Bears & Too Much Junk Food:

Our family loves the Berenstain Bears books. Though some of the older ones like this one are still fine, this one I did not care for. It promoted healthy eating and exercise but not in a very kind way.

The story was all about junk food making you "chunky" and that being a bad thing. I don't want my kids thinking negatively about someone else that may have more weight than them. Would have liked to see it say something about how junk food can make you sick, tired, etc. in addition to just gaining weight. Thus, it was too old-school for my taste. Kids still liked it though.
