So when we bring play to life, we do it with a commitment to the finest in craftsmanship and creativity. All of our products, from the newest concepts to our time-tested classics, are innovatively designed to inspire imaginative play and delight our consumers large and small.
Founded in 1979 by Francis Goldwyn (grandson of motion picture studio owner Sam Goldwyn), Manhattan Toy pioneered the use of non-traditional fabrics in toy design and introduced delightful new body styles in soft toys. Although Goldwyn is no longer involved in the ownership of Manhattan Toy, we remain true to his vision of marching to the beat of a different (toy) drum.
Play is not only fun, it's essential to a child's cognitive, emotional, and social development. Our design process blends science and whimsy to produce toys that offer children a rich array of visual and tactile stimulation and unlimited opportunities for imaginative exploration.

My baby loves her Tizoo. When she got sick and stayed in the hospital, we hung Tizoo from her I.V. pole. She laughed and talked to it. Tizoo was a nice distraction when it was time to draw blood. The nurses all loved it too.
My son has enjoyed this toy from 3 months through now, at 10 months. it's easy to tote along when we go out. the different tags make different noises.
My son loves this toy, he was never interested in anything else but when he layed his eyes on this toys and all of its colorful colors he cant stop playing with it, he even calls out for it ITs the best
Our 4 month old has been attached to this toy since he was about 3 months old. Now that he can reach and grasp it, he can't do without it! Definitely the best money we have spent on a toy so far!
My son has a few favorite toys that go everywhere with us.. this is one of them! He loves to chew and suck on the little legs and the different crinkly noises, rattles and sqeaks keep him entertained while out and about. I definitely recommend this toy to all parents!
I was disappointed when my baby didn't show interest in this toy. I really liked it and thought he would too. He wanted anything else other than this toy. He'll hold it for about 4-seconds and throw it down. I guess every baby is different. On to the next toy.
This is my daughters absolute favorite. We take it everywhere and makes her smile EVERY time even when shes upset.
We put it in the crib at eye level and he always kept starring at it...when he began to reach for things...it was the first thing he grabbed. i hear him playing with it in the morning when he wakes up.I think the colors and all the moving parts are what attract him to it.
I bought this for my 6 month old and she has never spent more than 30 seconds playing with it. She's 8 months old now and still throws it to the side and prefers something that makes noise or she can bite on. Maybe it's better for younger babies.
Our son loves this toy ever since he started playing with it around 4 months of age. He's become increasingly interested and explores all the shapes, colors, and sounds. Is great for our car rides where he'd otherwise get pretty bored and cranky!
When my first daughter was an infant, all of the other babies in our mommy and me class had the original whoozit, but I never bought her one because I thought $10 was too much for a toy for a 2 month old. When my second baby came along, I decided, "why not?" and bought her a Tizzo for Easter (she was 2 months old). She is 4 months now and never puts it down! The little legs are so easy for her to grab, she loves the peek-a-boo mirror, and the green rings and "crunchy" heart are her favorite teethers. We can't go anywhere without it because it keeps her busy for so much longer than any other toy she has. I really think this toy helped (is helping) her to learn basic motor skills with her hands and fingers. It's going to be a favorite for a long time. I've stated buying them for my girlfriends babies too!
I bought this for my daughter when she was about 2 months old. She wasn't that interested in it then, but now at 4 months she loves it. She just started grabbing stuff and this is her favorite thing to grab to put in her mouth. She especially loves the crinkly red heart!
Our daughter loves to put all of the legs in her mouth. She loves to hold and play with it for long periods of time. Great toy for young babies! We also have a friend that has a 9 month old and she loves it just as much! This toy seems to last a while!
This was one of the best gifts for our daughter. She is 4 months and LOVES IT!!! Easy to bring anywhere.
This toy keeps little hands and mouths busy for long periods of time. We take this traveling all the time, its compact but lots of fun. The yellow smile is a great place to tether it to a carseat or stroller.
