    I chose this baby monitor after reading that the higher-powered nursery monitors disrupt babies' sleep. There's also evidence that strong electro-magnetic fields have the potential to make kids ill (see I like this one because it uses only 50 mhz, and plugs into the wall. Today's kids get exposed to so much that previous generations did not. I don't want to discover the ramifications of this experiment as my babies grow up! I'll deal with a little bit of static to reduce that exposure. It works fine, really! And it's cheap.
