Product Information
I wasn't simply emotional or weepy, like I had been told I might be. This was something quite different. This was sadness of a shockingly different magnitude. It felt as if it would never go away." But with the proper help, those despondent feelings did go away, and when the clouds finally lifted Brooke Shields wrote with honesty and clarity about her devastating bout with postpartum depression. Here, in an effort to help women suffering from the same illness she chronicles her journey from crippling despair to recovery.

I would highly recommend this book to any new mother whose having any feelings of depression. This book helped me realize the difference between "baby blues" and postpartum depression and helped me cope with everyday situtations that a new mother encounters.

A very real look inside a mom with ppd. This book helped me so much to understand my depression. It's good to know you're not alone.
