Babyhome Dream Bassinet
Dream is an extremely lightweight cot with an aluminum frame that is easy to assemble/disassemble. Its innovative adjustable leg system allows, with the click of a button, to change the leg position from stationary to a rocker to wheels that allow Dream to be easily moved around the house. The fabric can be removed from the aluminum frame and washed. Dream comes with a high-density foam mattress that prevents the baby from getting caught between the edge of the mattress and side of the cot and a honeycomb structured mattress pad that is safe and breathable. Dream is suitable for use until the baby can stand on his/her own. It also includes a travel bag.

Comments about Dream Baby Cot - Lime:
This is the greatest bassinet! My son slept really well in it from the time he was a newborn until about 4 months. We wanted something that we could keep in our bedroom in the beginning, before he moved to a crib. This was perfect; it didn't take up too much space and didn't stick out too much because of the simple design. It is also nice and deep, which helps keep the baby from getting distracted by movement around him. We came to call it the "sensory deprivation tank." The mattress and pad are super soft and snuggly. They can be easily washed, and so can the entire fabric structure. The fabric and aluminum materials are very high quality. The bassinet is as light as a feather and easy to move from room to room. My son really liked it in the rocking position. If he kicked a little it would sway, which seemed to soothe him. I think being in the bassinet really calmed him, because when we moved him to the crib he immediately started rolling and moving in his sleep. I'm going to miss this little bassinet, but I'm passing it along to a family member now that he's outgrown it. By the way, it only comes with 1 mattress sheet, but I bought some Carter's bassinet sheets and they fit fine.
Comments about Dream Baby Cot - Sand:
I used this as a bassinet when my daughter was born. At 7 months and 20 pounds she is still using it to take naps when we are on the first floor of our house.
Comments about Dream Baby Cot - Brown:
I bought this cot when it had only been on the market for a few days and was hesitant to do so as there were no available reviews from anyone who had actually used it. 3 months in - I give it high marks! This product looks great and the baby sleeps well in it which is exactly what I wanted from it. It's very nice that it includes the mattress and two sets of sheets as lot of other bassinets make you buy those separately and the costs can really add up. I also love that the baby can't see out of the sides of it like with a crib with bars. I think that this helps create a very calm, distraction free environment and has helped him become a great sleeper. This cot sits right by our bed and I can easily reach in to comfort him/give him a paci without getting out of bed.
The only things I might suggest for improvement/caution other potential buyers about are:
1. The size. It is bigger than your average bassinet but my son has ended up growing very fast. At 15 lbs and 24 inches (at 3 months) I am not sure if he'll be able to use it until the advertised 6 month mark. If you tend to have big babies in your family, you should be aware that it may only last you a few months.
2. Rocking. I wish that the rocking legs went the other way. My baby doesn't seem to enjoy the side-to-side rocking - I think it makes him feel a little sea sick! I don't really use that feature and wish it had back-to-front rockers instead. Not a big deal and maybe just a preference of my baby.
Comments about Dream Baby Cot - Navy:
I wanted a bassinet so our baby could sleep in our room as a newborn and pre-sitting infant. However, I am frustrated by the aesthetic of most other options out there. The Dreamhome has such a pleasing simple look which makes me really wonder why most other bassinets have all those ugly frills.
I was so happy to find this option which is not only great for an initial sleep setup, but also stores easily for later when we have a second child down the road--no bulky stand or basket to have to store as it'll fold right back up. Also, I love that every aspect of this can be disassembled, washed and wiped.
I was particularly impressed by how sturdy and well constructed the product is. I have no concerns about safety, tipping, etc. as the aluminum is super strong and the nylon has zippers around the top frame and supports on the bottom which keep it strongly in place. I was also surprised how soft the sheet was, though a second sheet would be appreciated.
As a con, it doesn't rock as much as I'd anticipated (thus no concerns about tipping over as the baby gets bigger) but the rocking/wheels/stationary positions are really super easy to access.
**I'm still 2 weeks away from my due date so have no idea how our baby will sleep in this but wanted to review the product as I really debated before spending this much on a temporary sleep item. I am glad we've got an in-room option though and am so pleased with this product!
