Comments about Adj. Belly Bar Single (Mini/Classic/Elite/Summit):
This is a 5 star review for the Single Belly Bar on the Single Stroller, but a 1 star review for the Single Bar on a Double Stroller.
We have used the Belly Bar with a City Mini Single for about a year. Mom and Dad like the little bit of extra security the bar provides and our 19 mo. old son loves to use it to pull himself forward. This was a great addition to the single stroller, but...
The product description on Diapers.com and several other sites state that the single bar is compatible with double strollers. So we purchased a second single bar with a City Mini Double GT with the intent to have two single Belly Bars, one on each side so that each bar could be adjusted independently to the different sized boys. But when the double stroller arrived the single bars would not fit the double stroller. Per a conversation I had with a Baby Jogger phone rep, the single bar does NOT fit double and the description on these sites is wrong. If you want a belly bar for a double stroller you have to purchase a double belly bar ($$) and you end up with a bar that is a one size fits all setup.
I'm a little disappointed in the Diapers.com description and very disappointed in the baby Baby Jogger design.
