Comments about Butterfly Patch Burpy Bib:

These are by far my favorite bibs! When I first received this as a baby shower gift, I didn't understand the purpose of the extended bib. But once my baby started to eat solids, it all became very clear. Not only does this bib keep my baby from getting food all over her clothes, she also does not try to pull it off because it wraps around her which prevents her from grabbing it from the sides. Love it! Now I give them as gifts.

I love these burp cloths/bibs. They are so cute, but light weight and very absorbent. You can place it as a catch all for spit up or snap around neck to use as a bib. I love them!

This product was recommended to me by a couple of mom's and though I hesitated because of the price (almost $10 per burp cloth!!!) I ended up splurging. Now I own six and can't live without them. They are a great size to throw over your shoulder and they absorb very well. Originally I bought the JJ Cole version but after the first wash they ended up misshaped.

Comments about Butterfly Patch Burpy Bib:

My little girl is not a big drooler or spit-upper, so I can't comment on how this bib/burp cloth performs when faced with true baby-juicyness, but I love this bib.

I haven't had any issues with the snaps loosening and I don't understand how anyone could have an issue with how the bib fits around the neck (?). for me, the snap work very well and the bib fits well around the neck and covers enough of the front and shoulders of my girl that she is much less dirtied at the end of the meal than with any other bib.

My girl is 8 months old right now and loves to feed herself (and make HUGE messes) and this bib works pretty well. I must admit that I've had to make my own bib out of a kitchen towel (holes cut for head and arms) that covers her completely for when I let her cut loose with her food, but this burpy bib is the only bib I use now. Every other bib we've ever bought is now in deep storage!

Comments about Mod Turtle Burpy Bib:

This burpy bib has been awesome for sopping up the massive amounts of spit up and saliva from my 4 month old drooly baby boy. He wears one all day to avoid me having to change his clothes after so much drool.

At first he hated wearing it because it is so large that it sometimes impeded him from sucking on his thumb, but now he just chews the bib instead and loves it! I'm glad because I was worried about him getting addicted to the thumb sucking.

Furthermore, I get so many compliments on the bib whenever I'm out. People comment on the cuteness of the material, the size, and I've even been told my son looks like a super hero with his burpy bib "cape" :-).

The only complaint I have is that the snaps seem to be less effective after so much use. So much so that my son could easily pull the bib off by himself because the snaps got so loose. However, my handy hubby remediated this situation easily with a pair of pliers.

I love this bib so much I have 6 of them, and all of my Mommy friends are starting to buy them for their babies.

I love these burp cloths. I haven't used them as a bib yet but I have several that I use as burp cloths and love them. They're soft, cute and wash nicely. They contoured side makes them perfect for tossing over your shoulder when you're burping a baby.

Comments about Butterfly Patch Burpy Bib:

Because of the very positive experience I've had with A&A receiving blankets, I decided to try this bib.

I prefer this for feeding solids and don't think it is really necessary for bottle feedings, but I use it now for both since I have them.

For solids it covers baby shoulder to shoulder and i can also use it to wipe up her mouth. Because the bib is very wide I can wipe up big messes and not have to reuse a dirty part of the bib -and- I can use the same bib all day long. This bib is breathable with no vinyl backing like some and I've never had anything leak thru because it is nice and thick.

For bottle feedings it is soft (just like the blankets), thick and absorbent - perfect for milk dribbles during bottle feedings. Sure, I can just get a cloth or napkin but I prefer this since those items always seem to be out of reach when i really need them.

These are pricy for one bib, but I don't go thru these like the typical bib.

I hope this has been informational -

Note: I think that it does have an awkward fit at the neck because it does not have a well defined cut out for the neck like the average bib - but still very comfortable for baby. I don't think this is a functional issue, just different compared to the average.

My third baby is what I call a "spitter-upper" She spits up so much I can't believe she's actually gaining weight. I was fine with my first 2 babies with just regular burp cloths because they rarely spit up. This time it's not whether if but how much (will I need to change my own clothes) the best part of this bib is that I can snap it around her neck and it stays. If I take a moment to take care of something it's right there when she starts to spit up. I don't know how she does it but when I think she's done and put burpcloths down she spits up again.

I like how this bib covers the shoulders and how it can also be used as a burp cloth. However, any little bit of spit up soaks through the bib material immediately, soiling the clothes underneath.

A mom must have, especially if you have a baby with Reflux. It's a life saver. Very absorbent, yet doesn't soak all the way through. I love the bib feature for messy bottle or breast feeders. The fact that it covers the shoulders, unlike reg bibs, have saved a lot of our outfits!
