- Do you offer protection plans for certain products?
We previously offered protection plans for select products through SquareTrade, but we have since discontinued this offer. SquareTrade will continue to honor any protection plans you have already purchased until they expire or are fulfilled, whichever occurs first.

24/7 Customer Support - Contact SquareTrade's service team at any time for assistance.
Free 2-Way Shipping - SquareTrade gives you a prepaid shipping label to send your item to them. After they fix it, they send it back to you for free.
Cancel or Transfer Anytime - Customers receive a full refund if they cancel in the first 30 days. Refunds are pro-rated after that. Transferring your protection plan is free and can be done online or over the phone.
Easy Online Management - You can view, print, cancel, or transfer your plan, file a claim, and track its progress, 24/7 at squaretrade.com.
Electronic Delivery - SquareTrade will email your protection plan to you within two hours of purchase. (Remember to check your spam folder if you don't see it.)
Duration of Coverage
Coverage lasts 2 to 3 years from date of item purchase and is indicated in the protection plan description.
Start of Coverage
Coverage begins 31 days after the item purchase date. If there's an issue with your item and it's still covered by the manufacturer's warranty or this site's 365-day return policy, you'll be directed to the manufacturer or this site first. If the manufacturer either doesn't cover or denies coverage for normal-use failures, or if you are outside of this site's 365-day return policy, SquareTrade will still cover you.
You're covered for your item's replacement cost up to the coverage amount. Once that amount has been paid out, your protection plan will be considered fulfilled.
File a Claim
You can file a claim anytime online by going to squaretrade.com, logging in to your account, and following the links from your My Plans page. You can also file a claim by giving SquareTrade a call at 1-877-WARRANTY (927-7268). They're available 24/7.
Cancel or Transfer a SquareTrade Protection Plan
You can cancel or transfer your plan online at squaretrade.com. Just log into your account and follow the links on your My Plans page to cancel or transfer your plan in minutes. Refunds from a canceled plan take about 5 business days to process and will be paid to the credit card used to purchase the plan.
