The Britax Boulevard CS car seat introduces the new Click & Safe™ snug harness indicator, the latest advancement in child safety, which addresses the leading misuse with safety child seats. The Click & Safe™ feature is an audible aide to help determine when the harness is secure by clicking when the harness straps are snug. Other features include True Side Impact Protection™ with deep side walls and head support to provide advanced protection in side impact collisions. The easy-turn knob quickly adjusts the headrest and harness height without having to uninstall the seat. Higher forward-facing weight capacity allows children to remain harnessed up to 65 pounds. I bought this for my son when he got too big for the Britax Companion. I was worried about spending the money, but I have to say that it was worth it. Just like the companion, the baby LOVES it--whether he's looking outside or snoozing, he's in a little throne. It was so easy to install, and is super safe and solid the way it cozies-in around him. Easy to get baby in and out, too. The Clink-n-Safe feature is great because it takes the guessing out of the tightness, and it was also easy to teach my parents how tight it needed to be when they took him. Some unanticipated pluses: 1) being able to adjust the neck support without taking anything apart, 2) being able to remove the shoulder pads without taking anything apart, 3) the armpit buckle is soft rubber so bottle spills don't stick to it and it's soft on baby's chin, 4) the fabric is soft upholstery--like a sofa--feels good on baby's face (we bought the Berkshire Tan). Only negative is that it's really big in a small car...ok in my CRV but too big for my husband's Subaru Legacy. We have a Maxi-Cosi Priori for him, but the Britax is way easier and to me, more solid. Probably one of the best investments I've made.

Bought this two weeks ago for my tenth month old who was getting too tall for the infant seat. From the first moment he sat in the seat he loved it! He just sits there with a smile on his face. I think he likes being up high and looking out the window. Installation was easy because Britax has videos and charts on their website. The price is a bit high, but the safety was most important to me.
