This is a gel free diaper--so obviously it won't be as soft or absorbent as the others with the controversial chemicals and gels I would rather not have near my kids genitals for hours at a time--we use cloth and these for outings.

These are great! We now use these exclusively after trying out some other brands first. These leaked the least, our girl seems very comfortable in them, and we liked that there is no gel and the product is more "natural."

Never had a diaper rash! Never had one break open or the tape come undone (very durable and strong). Easy to tell if they are wet or dirty.

I use cloth regularly except on vacation. I have used these diapers a few times with each kid. I like that there is no gel in them and they feel more natural. I am not a fan of the tape fastener but it's not that big of a deal.

If you really research the fine print you will find that these are the ONLY "green" diapers. Other products may be green in only one area. These have no toxic PUD/gel (made illegal for toxic shock in tampons). PUD is legal in diapers as it does not touch the skin supposedly. WE all know they bust open and the gel gets on the skin. This is the only pud free diaper i know of. They are bleach free too. It is like a disposal cloth diaper. They are different, larger, non stretchy tabs. The tabs will hurt if not put on correctly, just like other diapers. Or, if you are using too small of a size. Otherwise these diapers are perfect. no rashes. no leaks. not bad for the earth because no bleach or pud. most of all...perect for your babies health and future.a 10

These are awful. We've been trying all sorts of "green" and allergen-reduced diaper options for diapering and these are the worst we've tried so far. I give them good marks for the lack of additives in the diaper, but they are stiff and the filler gets lumpy and moves around when wet. the tape tabs are not stretchy and is basically like scotch taping the diaper closed. There's a strip of plasticy material across the front of the diaper the scotch tapey tabs stick to. The sizing is HUGE. My baby is in a size 3 in most other diapers, but these were up way above his waist.

The straps on these diapers are like tap. They hold fine but it does not stretch. My daughter is a big girl and these diapers hurt her inside thighs. It is also very bulky. One diaper sizes up to 2-3 of my Earths best, so thats more space in the diaper bags. I will use these at night for her until they finish and I will go back to Earths Best.

Overanalytical New Father here: Yes, I tried no fewer than five different "green" brands on my boy. Tushies came in dead last for the Cons listed above. When my son's messy no. 2 oozed out onto my pant leg, I decided I had to trash these. I'm not even going to finish the pack! Right now I'm giving Nature Babycare size 1's a shot (the biodegradable diaper backing AND package give them highest green marks), after happily using Earth's Best newborn size diapers. 7th Gen. and Huggies didn't cut it either.

These are great daytime diapers. When you take them out of the bag, they seem stiff compared to other brands, but they are cotton!! And they soften right up after you put them on. My son never complained about them, never had any marks and has never gotten a diaper rash. They are bulkier than others, but again, they don't have any chemicals, and they are not overly so (and certainly not as bulky cloth). But you buy these diapers for a different reason than being soft and super absorbant. You will probably have to change the diaper more than gel diapers, and that may be why diaper rash seems to be less common with them.

I absolutely love these diapers. They are so absorbant that my 18 month old can wear them overnight and stay dry even when he has had alot to drink. He is such a heavy wetter he can no longer wear any type of cloth diaper/doubler overnight without awaking up soaked after 6 hours of sleep. With Tushies both of us can sleep through the night without using diapers containing SAP and other skin irritants. I just wish I could find them in [...] sized packs.We even used these when driving across the country. Baby didn't complain about these diapers like he did with all the other brands. My little one never got diaper rash on the trip while wearing Tushies. Thank you diapers.com for selling Tushies!!!.

Horrible bulky and uncomfortable diaper. What was i thinking. The diaper left a red mark on my sons bottom from the chafing due to its stiffness and bulk.

We tried using these diapers on our 3-month-old and were dismayed to discover that the tabs are so hard and sharp that unless we positioned the diaper just so, and our baby did not move too much (not likely!!), she ended up with red marks from the tabs. I do NOT recommend!

Love these diapers. So many complaints about them being stiff! I think they are soft and wonderful on my baby's skin. The only thing I could say I don't like is that they use tape tabs instead of velcro, but that doesn't really even bother me.
Since these are made of natural wood pulp and cotton, you will need to change your baby more often and if you have a heavy wetter, a long night might cause them to leak, but we've never had a blow out and he is a breastfed baby. His little "tushie" is never red from these diapers. I had to use Huggies one weekend and didn't have the same result. His little butt was red and irritated.
Definitely recommend Tushies!

this is so far the safest disposable diaper since it's chlorine freee and HAS NO GEL/ACRYLIC POLYMERS. this is the only brand among ALL disposables that i've tried (and i've tried them ALL) which did NOT give even a bit of rash to my baby's super-sensitive skin. and so I LOVE THIS brand... but the sticky tabs are SO STIFF that they leave red sores on my baby's skin.. I'm calling out to the people at diapers.com, if you have a way to contact the makers of Tushies, please tell them to improve the fit and remove the scotch-tape like sticky tabs and replace it with better tabs like the tabs that Seventh Gen is using. Please.

I expected these diapers to be bulky, but on top of that the fit is terrible and I cannot imagine what they were thinking when they designed the tabs. The closures on the Tushies diapers are literally exactly like scotch tape. They are about half an inch wide and only slightly sticky. They attach to a plastic band on the front of the diaper, but if you need to unstick and reattach one to adjust you will need either a brand new diaper or extra tape on hand. It's just like trying to reuse scotch tape; it will not stick well a second time. Since the tab closures are thin and barely sticky, a baby can easily remove the diaper. Very disappointing product.
