Agrees best with my son who is very sensitive to various food and allergic to soy products. Mixes well if you heat up the water slightly. Otherwise requires vigorous shaking, but to us, it's worth it.

This product is excellent. I bought several before I found this one. My son does go to daycare and he is often less sick than the rest of the children and does not catch the day care cold nearly as often as others. His immune system is actually a little stronger than mine now. I find that it does not mix well, however, that is easily resolved once you heat the bottle.

My baby had problems digesting milk protein since birth. She was not alergic to milk or lactose intolerant, just had a hard time digesting it (doctors said babies' intestines sometimes take longer to develop and need a kinder milk). We tried many formulas until we found Good Start. It was the only one she would tolerate. The one with Natural Cultures seems a little more difficult to dissolve, but who cares if baby is happy. For me, the taste is awful, but our baby liked it! We were thrilled when Good Start 2 Natural Cultures for babies 9-24 months old came out, and were able to switch without problems. Now that she is over 2, we need a regular child milk, as she has outgrown the difficulties to digest milk protein. Our problem seems to be switching tastes. I suppose that if a baby is used to the taste of Good Start since birth, she will have no problem accepting the phase two formula. However, trying phase two with a baby who drank a different formula in phase one might be difficult, as the baby might not be used to the taste. We definitively recommend Good Start for babies who have problems to digest milk proteins.

I bought this because my 1 year old doesn't like regular milk and Nestle is the best brand in Europe. However, the quality of the european Nestle and the american is not comparable!
When you mix the powder with water, it forms big (I mean really big) chunks and never fully dissolves. That may be the reason for its nasty taste. My son actually threw up - not spit up but threw up his lunch - after the first couple of sips. I tasted it and am not surprised at all.
Don't waste your money, it is not worth it!

In upstate New York it seems that Good Start is hard to come by at all, but I found one store that carries it on a regular basis. This stuff is fantastic! I've used it for my daughter who is now 5 and with my son who is now 9 months. I was so happy to see that they've improved it and added the probiotics to it.

Finding the stage 2 formula was a definite high point.

I was so happy to see this come out in May 2008. It has been hard to find in my town. Only one place within 30 miles carries it but the manufactuer said it would become more widely available soon. My daughter who is nearly 11 months old has been on the Good Start Natural Cultures infant formula. I wondered what I would do when she turned a year old. She's tiny and needs more nutrients to continue to grow. It seems Nestle read my mind when they introduced this. She will be on this until she's 24 months.

our baby girl developed eczema when she was about 5mos. old. the doctors we all went to prescibed but one kind of formula to feed her - hypoallergenic milk. but still to no avail. I came across with an article in the newspaper that stated, "studies have shown that probiotics - bifidus, lactobacillus...also helped in the cure of infant eczema." I was extremely happy to find it in Good Start with Natural Cultures. our baby girl's skin problem not only was resolved, she also became more healthy and active. now that good start came up with same formula designed for toddlers, I am confident that our baby will grow-up healthy and with flawless skin. thanks, Nestle! more power to you!

This was the first product that my son could keep down. I literally went through all of the major formulas on the market and finally decided to use the Good Start Natural Cultures and was floored at how quick my son's digestion changed. This formula was made for him. The others promise less spit up but this doesn't and it still delivers that feature. Thank you.
