It is difficult to buckle! You must first attach the buckles on the two shoulder straps before inserting them into the center buckle between the infants legs. Ya need three hands to do it with ease and I'm lucky to have one available. In consumer rating mags - it gets a excellent for safety but ease of uses is rated lower. I should have paid attention to those ratings.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
