This is a horrible monitor. Works great in the day time (other than the weird slow motion picture) but does not work at all in the night. I had the day & night color handheld, which had its own issues (static mainly) but at least you could see at night. This monitor was a gray washed out picture at night. The digital signal was excellent though during the day. I am now trying the best view monitor, which I hear is great.

i loved that this had the dual cameras for the nursery and my toddler's room but the night vision in comparison to my bebe sounds video cam was terrible. i couldn't tell where on the bed my toddler was. The directions also say to not leave it plugged in to not drain the battery but it didn't make it through the night. Also, this is the first digital that i have owned and instead of static, you get intermittent audio like a cell phone. It also didn't reach to our bedroom which was nowhere near 350 ft....this may be due to our old walls as we don't get any cell service in the house either. This monitor did not work for us in the end.

I bought this monitor because it could support more than one camera and seemed to be ideal for two children (we're due with our second in 2 weeks). The picture was outstanding during the day or when the light was on, but the nightvision is terrible. You can't see anything but a blur. I couldn't even tell if my son was standing up in his crib or laying down! Everything else about it was great. The monitor scans from one camera to another every 8 seconds and the sound quality was fine. There was no interference from other electronics or monitors, but it's totally worthless if you can't rely on the video at night! I'm sending it back and am searching for a replacement now.

I bought a Summer Infant Video Monitor when I had my first daughter. The monitor itself was like a mini tv and it is great. SO, when I had my 2nd daughter 11mo. later I thought this one was great because it could use two cameras and one monitor plus all the great features. I couldn't have been more wrong!! The monitor quit working after 2 days! The only way it would work was if it were plugged in and it shut off as soon as you unplugged it. The video was also so bad that I could barely see my babies and there was a delay of like 2 or 3 seconds on it. I'm not saying the brand is bad, but this video monitor is! Luckily I was able to return it with no problem and I am going to try ANOTHER Summer Infant product!

I bought this monitor to replace my summer infant day/night monitor. I just had a second child and wanted the dual camera feature. However, the camera is terrible, the picture comes across like a store surveillance camera. Not at all like the day/night camera. You do not get a clear picture of your child. I returned mine.
