    About Chlorine
"The wood pulp used in our diapers has not been processed with chemicals containing chlorine.  This prevents dangerous chlorinated toxins from being released into the environment through the pulp production process.

    Did You Know?
If every household in the U.S. with babies replaced just one package of diapers processed with chemicals containing chlorine with our chlorine free diapers, we could prevent 2,800 lbs of chlorinated hydrocarbons from polluting our air, lakes and streams. Your choice of our chlorine free products can help reduce the amount of chlorinated toxins released into the environment and help make the world a healthier place for your family and generations to come.

    We Disclose All Ingredients

Our diapers are made of chlorine free wood pulp, poly backing, and a soft poly outer cover. Absorbency is enhanced through the use of SAP, super absorbent polymer (gel).

    A Note About Gel

We use absorbent polymer (gel) in our diapers because it is the best method we have found for keeping babies dry and reducing diaper rash. Our exhaustive research on this gel has shown that it is non-toxic and safe for babies while helping keep them dry and comfortable. Independent scientific research on this chemically inert gel, sodium polyacrylate, has shown that it is non-toxic, not carcinogenic, and non-irritating to the skin.

Horrible diaper rash!

      Comments about Seventh Generation Case of Diapers - 4 pk Size 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6:

I switched my son to these at 11 months in an effort to do something better for the environment and to lessen the amount of chemicals against his skin. Prior to the switch, he was in Pampers Swaddlers, then Baby Dry, and he wears Huggies Overnights at night - no problems and not a single diaper rash (our tube of diaper rash cream, bought before he was born, was unopened!). Within 24 hours of starting in these diapers, my son's bum was covered in red dots and we were going through diaper rash cream like water.

Over the next two weeks, the rash came and went but always seemed to be worse after he took a poop. At first we attributed the rash to something he ate, but after two weeks of rash and two tubes of cream, culminating in a bright red and painfully irritated scrotum, we gave up on these diapers and have him wearing his Huggies Overnights until our new shippment of Pampers Baby Dry arrives.

I'm giving this product 2 stars because I'm not sure if there is something in the diaper that interacts with my son's poops to create irritation or if he's just really sensitive to these diapers (which is crazy given that these diapers don't have fragrance or cholorine!). I didn't see many other reviews complaining of diaper rash with these diapers, so maybe my son has a rare sensitivity to them.

I initially used cloth when I was on maternity leave, but since returning to work, I have found it's too hard to keep up with cloth diapering. Besides, daycare will only use disposables. I tried Pampers, but I hated the overpowering fragrance. I can't imagine my baby's tush having to endure the strong, toxic chemicals in those diapers. She also had more diaper rash and leakage with Pampers.

I started using Seventh Generation diapers a few weeks ago, and love that the diapers feel almost as toxic-free as cloth diapers. No fragrance, and amazingly, no leakage even though she's had a couple of explosions with very full BMs.

I'm sticking with Seventh Generation from now on.

These diapers are great! I am currently using them with my 20 month old and my 2 month old. The only downfall is that they are made inconsistantly. Like the tabs on the number ones, aren't as strechy as the number twos. The newborn size is very small. Actually they tend to run small until about size four, when the weight actually coinsides with the size. Its just a matter of figuring this out. Other than that, I highly recomend them!!!!

These are the best diapers ever, hands down. Plus, they are a "greener" alternative to the major name brand diapers out there. I've used these with both of my girls since the day they were born and have never had rashes or irritations because of the diaper. We've tried all other brands as well, and they caused rashes, leaks, you name it.

If you are looking for the best diaper, with great absorbancy, no characters on them, etc...you found them. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I really like these diapers. I've been using them since my son was born. I also used the Pampers that we got from the hospital and Huggies Pure and Natural - both seem to smell as soon as my son pees. With 7th Gen, I don't smell anything. 7th Gen does run a bit small. I always have to go up a size despite what the weight on the package indicates. You will have a blow out if the diaper is too snug, but that is with any brand. I will admit that I use Pampers 12-hr as an overnight diaper. Bottom line is that this is a great product and I try to avoid having to use other diapers.

These are wonderful diapers because they are good for baby, good for environment, and good for parents. They fit well, don't leak, and never have those annoying gel pellets that you might find with other brands. Wearing these, my daughter has never had rash or irritation. I also like that there are no prints or ink. Neutral beige color does not distract from her cute summer outfits. Wish they were less expensive, but they are worth every penny.

Although this diaper is a plain light brown color, it is a really great diaper. It absorbs very well and keeps my daughter's bottom almost completely free from diaper rash. I read the other reviews before I purchased this product and the reviews are right when they say to buy one size up.

I tried using cloth diapers and gDipaers on my youngest son and they didn't work. Both of them gave him a horrible rash. I've also tried most of the mainstream brands of disposables and he kept getting rashes. I love 7th Generation diapers because he's had very few rashes and they don't stink like perfume. I also like the tan color and that they don't have cartoon charaters all over them. I've very pleased that they have lowered the price. I agree with everyone about buying the next size up. My son can wear either a size 4 or 5. He is almost 15 months old and weighs around 25-26lbs.

Bought a pack of these after ditching both Pampers and Huggies for leaks. Truly a great diaper. Nice and soft inside for baby, sturdy tapes and my daughter stays dry even after a very long night's sleep. Unless they change the design, I'll never use another brand.

the hospital provided pampers when my daughter was born so she used them in the hospital. They were loose and they were not absorbant. When we brought her home, we tried seventh generation and fell in love. They absorb well so the wetness isnt on her. She is also 15 weeks old and has only had two instances where she "leaked out" of the diaper (and they were BIG dirty diapers)!!! She has also not experienced diaper rash or anything close to diaper rash! I also love that they are chlorine free so less chemicals on her skin. Last, they are far less expensive that other name brand diapers so its a better quality for less! I would recommend Seventh generation to any and everyone!

We started using Seventh Generation Diapers from the start and they have been great. We like that they are chlorine free and sans design (cartoon characters, etc). Mind you, our baby was born very long (21.5 in.) and I think the fit depends on your baby. A family member got us Huggies All Natural and they leaked every time we tried to use them, so we went back to the Seventh Generation.

                                  Comments about Seventh Generation Case of Diapers - 4 pk Size 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6:

These diapers are wonderful! They have great leak protection and my baby has NEVER had a rash from them. They do tend to run a bit small but that may be because my little guy has thunder thighs. If you are looking for a chemical free diaper that works great with a good value, you've found it!
