I was very excited to try out this product since it is organic and seemed like a great alternative to clear desitin. I do like the balm itself and I think it does a great job, but as other people have stated the packaging is absolutely terrible. It is so hard to get the product out and it feels like you do end up wasting product because it just can't get it all out. It is painful to have to unscrew the cap to try to get the product out... It might be organic but is definitely not environmentally friendly!

The product itself is decent and it is one of the only organic ointments (not creams) on the market. The two complaints I have are that (1) the oil separates from the ointment and squeezes out first and (2) the packaging stinks; the plastic is too hard and you can't squeeze the product out of the tube.

I bought this product because I'm trying to use all natural things for my little girl. This product is ok. It is too thick and kind of hard to get off. When I take off her diaper she has white clumps all over with sticky gooo. I also agree that the package is not practical. How are you suppose to get all the stuff out.

I love, love, love this stuff. I have used it at every diaper change since birth and baby has never had a diaper rash. It has a petroleum jelly feel without the petroleum. It protects the skin and soothes chapped areas like the cheeks & chin. I feel good about using it on the face when needed because it has all natural ingredients. I can't say enough about it. Just try it.

I'm a mom who uses Bum Genius 3.0 diapers. These diapers are great in every way except that zinc oxide-containing diaper creams stain them badly. When my daughter was 3 months old, she had a diaper rash. That's when I tried this ointment for the first time. It worked incredibly well - no staining and it created a great barrier against wetness. The diaper rash was gone in no time. I use it with every diaper change and my daughter, now 7 months, hasn't had a rash since.

The above review that said this product was runny and staining may have been reviewing the wrong product - this is a thick ointment and it is clear. I agree with the other review, though, that said the tube was inflexible and made it hard to empty completely. Nonetheless, this product does what it says it's going to do AND is a perfect option for mothers like me who use cloth diapers.

I don't know if mine was bad or what... but it was nasty! It came out clumpy and runny at the same time. The runny part was like pure oil, stained everything. Lid would not stay on, leaked everywhere. I will never buy again!

I really like this product but will probably not order again because it is impossible to get all the cream from the kind of tube it is in, it just doesn't squeeze and give enough.

Great thick formula and helps to prevent rash. My daughter has sensitive skin and dry patches and it works great on those areas.
