We tried a whole bunch of creams that we got as gifts, but preferred this one. Light for at night, goes on smooth, nice scent. We are lucky our little one has never had a diaper rash in 7 months. Could it be because of this product applied after most diaper changes? Or maybe because we change diapers a lot?!

Desitin Creamy clears up my daughter's diaper rash faster than any other cream I've used, BUT, it can burn a bit on new rashes. So what I do is I put Desitin Original on the first time after noticing the diaper rash and then I use Desitin Creamy every time after that. Because if you use Desitin Creamy on a fresh, new diaper rash IT WILL BURN!! But it won't burn once the rash is slightly older and will clear it up fast!! Desitin Original won't burn a new rash, but is not as effective at clearing it up.

I love this product and switched from Boudreaux's Butt Paste. The toxicity ratings at www.ewg.org were not so good, though, so I guess I'll have to find something else. This is a clean, non-staining, nice smelling product.

Get the original. Works great and doesn't BURN! Your child will scream with any irritation if you put this on them! Do not use this! They should take it off the market!

The creamy version is easy to apply, but it just doesn't stay on their little buns. And because the cream doesn't stay on, it does not provide an effective barrier for diaper rash.

I got a tube of this to put in my son's diaper bag when we brought him home from the hospital and haven't turned back. WONDERFUL stuff - makes a great barrier cream!

We use to use Desitin for all diaper rashes but as my daughter got older, she would cry when I put this on her. It seemed like it was stinging her irritated skin. Now we use Aquaphor which doesn't bother her when I apply it over a bad rash.

Desitin Creamy has always worked great for my kids' diaper rash. I like that is smooths on easily and has a pleasant odor. It's thick enough to protect the area between diaper changes but easier to deal with than the regular ointments. For my son in particular, it seemed to work better than some of the other ointments and I've had great results with my daughter, too. Will be using it for number three in the near future!

We have tried several different diaper creams and this works the best. Our oldest son has a very sensitive bottom and we put a thin layer on every night to protect overnight.

Love the texture and ease of application. Faint scent that it's bothersome and actually quite enjoyable. No diaper rash issues and have used this product since birth.

Recommended by a physician for use on bad diaper rash after cleansing with cetaphil type creams and viva paper towels....WOW does it work!

Good product for everyday use and basic diaper rash. For tough diaper rash that won't go away, I find other products work better.
