This hat is the best, funky, cute, and warm. My son never ceases to get compliments on it. The color is as shown. Runs a bit small. My son usually takes size 18 months. We got it when he was only 13 months--it fit for 2 months and then he outgrew it. But we loved it so much we are reordering another Zutano in a bigger size and different color. I think it would be adorable for either a boy or girl.
