Comments about Cozie Mittens - Navy:

These mittens are not the right size for an infant, or probably any child under the age of 2 (and by then they would want a place for their little thumb to go). I purchased these for my 7 month old who is the 95th percentile for height and weight (so not a small child) and his hands swim in them and they fall off. As a comparison, I had my 3 year old try them on and his hand filled them out. I'll have to return these.

Comments about Cozie Mittens - Fuchsia:

We live in frigidly cold Vermont and these mittens are perfect for our baby's hands. Contrary to other reviews, these mittens are THIN, but are not flimsy: the have a different weave pattern on the inside of the mitten so they don't need to be bulky. It's actually an effective use of technology. Bulk does not = warmth! Zutano makes great stuff and these mittens reflect that. Our baby's hands were toasty warm after an hour outside in the teens.
The mittens' openings are appropriate to a baby's who can't make a fist or push through (kills me about other mittens!). The string attaching them is a lifesaver in bundling them up and dealing with them going to daycare. Best mitten we have found to survive VT winters.

These mittens are large for an infant, but perfect for a toddler. I can't put mittens on my 15month old so these are perfect. And the string ensures they don't get lost.

I read the reviews but bought the mittens anyways. Everyone else was right, these mittens are huge. My nine month old wears them but she looks a little ridiculous. They're also not very thick or soft so they work for cooler fall days but we won't be using them during the winter.

The package I received says 0 - 6 months, but these mittens are HUGE. They are really just two circular pieces of very thin, fleece-like material sewn together. My 8-month-old looked like he was wearing flippers :) Very disappointed as we usually love this brand.
