Our son loved to be swaddled until 6 months, he was obviously waking up unswaddled but it helped him get to sleep. This was a product I did not know existed until he was too old. I purchased the product but it is really unsafe if he is rolling over in it so it does not work so great after all. It would be a great product for a newborn, they cannot get their hands out.

This was so tight on my 9 lb baby I felt like I was choking her when I zipped it. I think the Summer Infant velcro swaddles are much more breathable but this would be perfect if you have a Houdini baby.

Woombies make swaddling easy. Just place baby in and zip!

With my first child I used a different blanket that worked wonders for her. But I always felt kinda cruel pinning her arms to her sides, and she always escaped from them. I saw these for the first time just before my son was born in June. Wow, how easy this is! And it works! It also makes me feel less cruel. He can move his arms around where he wants them, but he's still cozy and doesn't awake from his startle reflex.

I highly recommend the Woombie!

My 3-month-old baby girl sleeps more soundly and longer when wearing her Woombie. She used to wake herself up just as she was falling asleep b/c she would bonk herself in the face and head with her arms. Until she learns to control them, I'll keep her in her Woombie. She can't get out of it, but she can move her arms within it. I love it b/c it's super easy to put on.

I knew I wanted to swaddle my baby before she was born, so I looked at woombies but decided they cost too much. I swaddled my baby in a blanket and other swaddler type things (with velcro). This worked well when it was winter (could bundler her up well), but when it got warmer out and she got bigger (and more active) the little escape artist started breaking out of her swaddles. This is awesome, lightweight (for summer) still let's her stretch and be active while she's awake, but keeps her from bonking herself in the head or startling herself awake. Love it! Next baby I'll get one sooner (the newborn size).
