My little Houdini was getting his arms free within seconds of being swaddled traditionally and with more time, could work his legs out too. The lil' houdini model of the Woombie is a bit tighter than the summer version I have, but both are great (lil' houdini is 9% spandex vs. 5% in the summer version) The snap tab at the top is made of a soft velour, so there is no chin irritation. The dual zipper makes diaper changes a breeze. My guy actually giggles as he is being zipped up for the night and doesn't wake up as frequently as he used to. I wish I had discovered the Woombie sooner.

I swaddled my son for naps for months and months, then slowly transitioned to a sleep sack. The sleep sack worked great until he learned to stand in his crib. Then he became obsessed with standing and walking in the crib. Sometimes he would be awake standing for an hour and naptime was wasted. Enter the Woombie. My son is big (25 lbs at 10 months) and we use the Mega size, and it still fits with plenty of room. I like that it has stretch; he can move his arms around and roll and even sit, but just can't stand. And I think this special sack signals to him that it's time for sleep. He usually goes right to sleep in the Woombie, and is still able to find his favorite sleeping position in it. This is a great find for parents needing some extra help for active babies!
PS - no chafing around the neck whatsoever on my baby. In fact there's a lot of stretch around the neck.

I originally bought a Woombie because it's summer and it's hot. Swaddling my son in the traditional blanket just seemed like too much, (not to mention that I'd have to completely unwrap him to change a diaper), but this has made everything so much easier. I can change him in the middle of the night, or after he falls asleep at the breast, without waking him.

My son also loves to suck on his hands and this interferes with his ability to breastfeed efficiently. I tried swaddling him, but I just couldn't get the swaddle tight enough to keep him from wiggling out and stuffing his hands in the way. I put him in the Woombie and it's a breeze. No hands in the way, no fuss. Two weeks later I can now leave it off and his arms just stay where they would have in the Woombie.

There's only one thing I don't like, the neck of the Woombie always looks like it's too tight. I find myself leaving it just a little unzipped because I always worry it's uncomfortably tight or going to choke him.

This has been one of the best products I've purchased for my baby boy. I wish I had found out about this sooner. He likes to have his hands by his face when he sleeps and with the Woombie he is able to do so. The Woombie has provided us with much more sleep as we transition to no swaddle.

The Woombie definately helped my son sleep somewhat better at night. However, if your baby is used to a tight swaddle he may have too much room to move in a woombie. They are soft and comfortable, and overall I really like it. But he still wakes himself up with the twisting and turning he does.

Love the concept behind this product. My only suggestion is that you should only buy the organic woombie. The original has a Velcro closure at the top and it scratches my baby's face every time he wears it. Sad to see him wake up with scratches all over his chin. The organic woombie has a snap closure at the top- no scratching! For the price, this product should be perfect- they need to make all of them with a snap closure.

My little man is a major houdini- we bought every product available and in days he would find his way out of it. This is a great product. It keeps his hands contained so he sleeps well. I would consider it one of my top 10 must have for baby products.

I love that there are NO flaps with velcro! Easy zip closure, so you aren't fighting with little wiggle arms. And it un-zips from the bottom for easy diaper changing and/or ventilation.

My son will not sleep without his woombie, if I lay him down without it, he's awake within 2 minutes! These things are the best thing ever! We wouldn't ever get any sleep if it wasn't for them!

This helps my baby sleep longer without interruptions. He does not startle himself anymore with his arms jerking because the woombie holds his arms tight and close to his body. We have used it every night since we got it.

The Woombie has been a lifesaver! Our little guy can't fall asleep unless he is swaddled. At 2 months, he has wiggled out of every swaddle blanket and even those swaddle wraps with the velcro. He managed to always get 1 arm stuck out of the velcro and even had the velcro cover his mouth at one point!! There is nothing to worry about with the Woombie because it is soft around his neck and gives him flexibility to move his arms INSIDE while still giving him the security that he wants. Great product!!

I purchased the Woombie for my 3 month old because it had a simple zipper instead of velcro. It fit snug and he didn't mind being in it. I really liked the ability to open the zipper from the bottom as well as the top for quickie diaper changes in the middle of the night. The idea of the product was spot on but the only problem was my son could roll over in it. He was able to move his arms up enough to allow himself to roll over - he was doing laps around his crib and banging his head on the bars all night. So if he wasn't able to roll around the product would be perfect for me. I do have to add that he was unable to break out of it even with all the wiggling. I'm going to go back to using my Summer Infant SwaddleMe that worked well to keep his arms down.

My son loves this. It is a GOD SEND. Especially since, I am a LOUSY swaddler. He is so cozy once he is zipped in. He has slept through the night from two weeks old THANKS IN PART TO WOOMBIE.

The Woombie's are the best thing I've ever purchased for my son's sleep! He is almost 5 months old and has always needed to be swaddled to nap or sleep well. He was getting out of EVERY swaddle I tried, even the velcro kind! I found the woombie's and they have been so wonderful! He can stretch his arms, legs and feet in them, but not get his hands out...at least not yet! :)
