Covers well with only a little bit. Doesn't separate into solids and oil like others. Seems to clear up minor skin irritations after a single use. Open sores after a few applications are healed. It's expensive; but easily lasts longer than the 4 oz. tubes of other brands.

I love Weleda products and have been using them for years. Was so happy to discover this line when i was a helping a friend out with her baby and now, with my first child, it has been great to feel comfortable and confident about what i'm putting on my daughter's sensitive skin. The line prompted me to do research on calendula and it is just an amazingly gentle & versatile miracle cream! my daughter got a diaper rash/ yeast infection at 3 + weeks and this really helped it heal. I now use it religiously -- she's going on 9 weeks and hasn't had one since! I recommend using with Motherlove Diaper rash/ thrush cream and then putting this on top whenever treating a rash or even at signs of a red bum (which also had Calendula). The diaper care cream is a great barrier cream especially for nighttime when changes are less frequent. The smell is pleasant and blends with baby's natural yumminess rather than infiltrating or being too strong. I have the whole baby line & use it for my daughter & myself & love love love it.

The cream is great, I use it on both my toddler and infant; however, be advised that the tubes are made of (recyclable) aluminum, and the top is not a flip-cap as pictured, it is a screw cap. While this may not seem like a big deal, here is what happens:
- the tube crinkles when you squeeze it, and then gets a sharp hole in it. The cream then squirts out the hole, getting goo all over the place. this also means you cannot get all of the product out of the tube, so you waste some nice pricey cream.
- Your baby, if they are like most babies, will want to put everything in their mouth. If they get a hold of the tube they will bite through it, causing another hole in the tube. If they get the cap in their mouth it is small enough that it could be a problem.

I like the product itself, just wish the packaging was more user-friendly. I would give it 5 stars if not for the packaging - and it is frustrating that the picture is not the same as what is in stock.

I went through nearly every diaper cream you can find at a drug store before finding Weleda. If my son has diarrhea or just a bad rash, this literally heals him overnight. I've recommended it to friends and they had the same great experience.

Diaper creams---I have tried them all!!! All of my children have sensitive skin, and this is the best you can buy! Smells great, goes on smoothly, doesn't make your kiddo flinch- no stinging...it really is the best diaper rash money can buy!

This is the only diaper cream that really works on diaper rash. When my baby girl shows signs of a rash, I use a little of this cream, and ZAP: it's literally gone by the next diapering. You need very little, so it lasts a long time and ends up not being any more expensive then those gloppy creams. And the calendula smell is amazing! It's the only thing that seems to really kill the awful baby [*] smell, without being perfumy. LOVE LOVE LOVE this cream!

This diaper rash cream ended my long search for the perfect diaper rash cream. I LOVE this product for several reasons. I am very "green" and prefer not to apply anything harmful/potentially harmful (ie. chemicals, preservatives, etc.) to my childrens' skin. The skin is the largest organ in the body! We need to be careful what we put on it. I found this cream to go on smoothly (make sure skin is very dry before applying) and has a very pleasant scent. Most importantly, it is non-irritating and healed my babies bottoms quickly. The only other things that work well for severe diaper rash are soaking the bottom in the bathtub followed by lots of exposure to air, probiotics, and frequent diaper changes. [...] I also use many other Weleda products and HIGHLY recommend them.

This is the best diaper cream i have found for soothing irritated skin in the diaper area, neck area and anywhere where moisture and/or fungal infections cause problems. I recommend this brand vs. other store brand diaper creams which often dry out the skin.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this diaper cream. Tried lots of other natural diaper creams. I loved this one the best and think it works great. When my son had a diaper rash, I used this and it cleared up so fast. If he even starts to get red, I use some of it and the redness goes away.

Soft smell to it and doesn't smell like a medicine. Some diaper creams have an icky smell that is too strong.

This will be the only diaper cream you will ever use once you try it!

The whole line of Weleda products is great too.

I use this product with my baby when she has a rash. It clears it right up. I tried Buttpaste once, because you hear it is so great. It gave my girl an even worse rash. My daughter doesn't even have sensitive skin. I have never had to use special soaps, detergents or lotions for her. The Calendula cream even cleared up what the Buttpaste left. I don't have anything negative to say about this cream. I plan to use this cream with my next little one who is on the way now.
