We bought all of the "Chan Pie Gnon" collection for our 4 month old after he fell in love with his Sophie. These have the same sound as sophie and made from the same material, but they do not feature all of the different chew features as sophie. The feature on top of the head is really the only place your baby can gnaw this toy (this is why we bought all 3). He still likes to play with them though, so I would still recommend.

my little one (4 mos old) likes to alternate between this toy & Sophie the Giraffe. This Vulli toy make a really cool sound. But don't put it in the freezer. it ruins the unique sound.

This is best toy for my 4 and 1/2 month to chew on and she also loves the squeaky sound. It makes a funny noise when you hold and shake it while it wobbles its head.

The bump on the head is the best part of the toy that attracts attention to chew. We also have the sophie but like this better - easy to hold, soft, lightweight.

Great product. I received it as a gift before the arrival of my third child. He loves chewing on it. A very soft texture, easy for him to hold. We refer to this as the "booby head toy." I will buy this as a gift for other moms!

Awesome toy for babies! My baby loves to put this in her mouth chew! It's so easy to put in the diaper bag and bring out when we're out and about. I love how it's natural rubber and it's super cute too.

My son is 4 months and has trouble keeping hold of some objects so I struggled to find an effective teether. Also one that he could interact with and that would be a bit softer on his gums. My son loves chewing/sucking away on the nipple top and seems to love it even more when we he squeezes it and it makes a noise. It's safe, durable and fun!

We have Sophie too but her neck is too thick for my infant to gnaw on, and he gags on her long legs.

Enter this PERFECT little guy. Yes, he looks weird. But he is made of a MUCH SOFTER rubber than sophie, and his, ahem, "head" is the perfect shape as my baby gets his front teeth. I wish I would have ordered this a month ago when he started gnawing on everything!!! At least I finally found it !

I think his "head" shape, while weird, is best...the pink one's "nubs" look too small, and the other "ring" looks unsatisfying.

If your baby won't stop gnawing on things, try this!

My 5½ month old loves this teether. It's soft enough so that he can hold it. He likes to chew on the blue bump on top of its head. It's a great teether: soft, squeaky and cute!

I bought this along with Sophie the giraffe for my son who was 5 months at the time. He pretty much chews on everything and drools all the time. This has been great for him so far!

I find the rubber very soft so he can hold onto it. He seems to enjoy the squeaking noise. I want to purchase the green one too!

This toy is totally weird at 1st but it's great. Very soft and squishy so it is easy for my 4 month old to grasp. It's light weight with a little sqeaky noise inside. I have the blue one and just ordered the green one. My son is a drooler, sucker, chewer. He sucks on his hands arms and anything else so this toy is perfect for him. Not to big not to small. We love it! It's worth the money.

Very cute and different from so many other baby toys. The blue top is great for chewing on and the body is easy to grasp, even for my 4 month old. The squeak is a little loud, but it's nice that it's easy for baby to make it squeak just by bending the head over.

I am sure I have seen toys just like this at the pet store and they are not as expensive for a little item like this. Unfort I did not read that this toy squeaks in the descript. b/c I generally dont like squeaks and would likely not have purchased, but even so, the squeak is exactly like what youd find in a dog toy, its loud and abrupt, not a nice pleasing one for parent or child. Certainly be sure not to let them go to bed w/it b/c it will wake them up and you too! The rubber has a weird soft/floppy feel like a rubber chicken, and my daughter did not find it very fun to even hold it, although I do think she would like chewing on the little nubbie on the head (I would not say it is nipple like at all)if she gave it more of a chance. I think I'll just get another set of those rubber squirter toys made for the tub b/c that seems to be what satisfies her gnawing needs best.

I was a bit disappointed when I first saw this item. Small, thin rubber didn't think my 5 month old would fall for it. However, he adores it. He played with it for over an hour when he first got it, a week later he still loves it. Great toy. I'm gettind Sophie next.

We LOVE Chan. My little one has 2 Sophies (great toy) and Gnon. His favorite is Chan (this toy). He likes chewing on them a lot but Chan has a large nipple on the top of his head and he often sucks on the nipple. He's a breastfed baby and he self weened off paci's at 8 weeks, so anything that he will suck on (other than me, my finger or his thumb) makes me happy.

I purchased this toy (two of them actually) after reading another review on this site to help soothe my twins who want to constantly nurse. The other reviewer said her child loved the little nipple on top. I was surprised when this arrived. It is much larger than I was expecting and the nipple is much larger than an average nipple; therefore, this toy is difficult for either of my twins to find satisfying. They love the squeaking action and the natural rubber is very soft. I had to put my rating right in the middle because there are definately toys they like better. If the nipple on top were smaller this would be perfect for any breastfeeding baby. Get Sophie the Giraffe - same rubber and overall much better toy!
