Overall this is a great educational toy to have. However, it starts playing by itself in the middle of the night and it creaps me out. Not sure if this toy is designed to do this or if some ghost in my house of making its presence known. Not sure. Many other items have also gone off by themselves in my house. I just turn it off when we aren't using it.

I decide to write the review ONLY because of all these bad previous reviews and because I don't understand, why people review the product, which they received as a gift. Are you sure, all those people bought this toys exactly from diapers site?
I bought this toy by myself, when my son was around 6 months.
Now, he is 1 year old and this toy is one of his favorite.
Yes, the batteries "died" soon, like after 2 months and I replaced them.
The toy is very easy to clean, i don't have any problem with that, and it's educational (of course).
Read instructions, before you using the product and don't claim that it's not working. It's working wonderful. The 3 pages of the book play different songs and at that time the piano plays to each page differently. There are songs, and letters , and numbers, and colors, and in all that songs, there are explanations who is what doing now. for example, "the pig is sleeping..." and there is the sound like somebody sleeping...or "the monkey playing the guitar" and there is a sound of the guitar. "The pig is sleeping on the pillow, the pillow's shape like a heart" - and there is sound of the heart. Do you call this not educational? There is two choices of the talking words like letters, numbers and colors and shapes and the second like animals, sounds of the different musical instruments and what animals are doing right now - on every page there are different stories.
There are also five different lights, two choices to make this toy quiet or loud. There is a dog dancing and the microphone which is working only when you saying something and is very close to the toy. That is only minus and that's why I gave only 4 stars. But not ONE!!!
I suggest you to buy the toys by yourself, or don't leave the review if you not sure the your friends bought this for your baby exactly from this site.
Or change the battery and be sure that this batteries are not old!

My son received this gift as a birthday present in nov. 2010. In less than 2 weeks after we received it this toy started to make eerie sounds, it would start talking when my son had not played with it, and the sound skips out on it. it sits and the lights flash and flash and flash but he could be done with it for about 10 minutes and it is still going. DON'T BUY THIS TOY it is horrible, and obnoxious!!

Got this as a gift. It is loud and obnoxious, but worst of all, there is NO rhyme or reason to its functions. In theory I understand how the pictures and keys and sounds are supposed to correlate; however, for a child it is way too random. There is little cause and effect that a younger toddler can discern. It is a lousy learning toy.
