I bought this toy for my 6 month old son who enjoys playing with it. Not only is it entertaining its also educational. Its also a toy that will be appropriate for him for another year or so.

My son is not crawling just yet but he looks like he is close to doing so. I got this for him more so to motivate him into crawling. He loves it and once he gets a hold of it he doesn't let go because he knows that it moves and he will have to try and get it (or cry for me to get it for him!) It is heavy but it's not meant to be picked up and played with. This is the type of toy that is played with on the floor. It is hard so when it is rolling around on my hard wood floors I know it but that goes for anything not just toys. The good thing is that if your baby is not playing with it in any way it goes into sleep mode in like 2-3 minutes. The only thing that annoys me is the sound they use for the monkey.

Our 7 month old received this as a gift for Christmas. He was interested until he heard the obnoxiously loud sounds that this toy makes. He quickly crawled away and began crying. He loves balls and chases them all over the house, so we thought he would enjoy this ball too. We have offered it to him numerous times over the past two months and he is only mildly interested in batting it around and playing with the ribbons and lady bug that spins - BUT - only as long as the sound remains switched to off! He does not initiate play with this toy on his own. He cries every time we switch it on and crawls as fast as he can in the opposite direction. In my opinion, the sound is too loud for little ears, even on the lowest setting, as are most children's toys. This toy is a good in concept, cute even, but even if he did not mind the sounds, they are hard to understand for a child this age and not as educational as they could be. Perhaps he will enjoy it when he is older. I would not purchase this for a friend.

It's cute and my daughter likes it but the only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't move well on carpet or her play quilt. I'd rather not have her on the hard floors to be able to play with this correctly.

great toy that babies can play with for hours. it moves on its own so its great to grab their attention. There are many buttons to push and every time you touch the ball it lights up and plays music. Highly recommend it for babies starting to crawl, sit up or even if they just do tummy time and watch the ball roll around I feel like its a great toy.

my daughter absolutely loves this toy, she lights up every time she hears the cat song, it is helping her with her hand eye coordination. the only thing that i don't like about it is the battery life.It doesn't last too long, but otherwise it it awesome to have it.

My daughter can't get enough of this toy. It seems to have the perfect amount of stimulation to excite her to try and chase after it.

She isn't crawling just yet, but I attribute a lot of our "almost there" progress to her tummy time with this ball.

Don't question it, just buy it. You will love it.

My son started using this at 5 months and he loves it. He reaches for it and it moves just not very far so he does not get frustrated instead he tries to reach it. It is a great learning tool as well as you press the numbers it speaks the name as well as the name of all the animals on its side.

Once my son started to show signs of crawling, this toy was great in encouraging him to crawl all the way! The lights and music are attractive and I love how the ball moves on its own. The only downside is that there is no option for it to remain still while the lights and music are on. Other than that, this is a great toy!

My 7 month old twins seemed interested at first, but it is very large - too heavy for them to hold - and moves quite aggressively, it bumps into their little noses while they do tummy time. I don't think it will encourage them to crawl much because the music and lights time out after a few seconds. Also, the voice is a bit annoying. For older kids, though, I think this would be a lot of fun, but it's just too big for them at their age.

Great colors and sounds! My little one has not started crawling yet, but is rolling over and she loves to watch the ball and hear the different music. She tries to get to it when placed in her view, but just out of reach!

My son loves this ball. He is completely fascinated by it when I turn it on. The only negative thing I could say is that it sometimes rolls right into his face. But, it doesn't seem to really bother him. I would simply suggest watching your little one to make sure they don't get hurt.

I gave this product 4 stars because it does everything it advertised to do and my daughter does play with it, but be warned, the song that comes from the ball and noise it makes is soooo irritating! I would not give as a gift if you want to remain friends with the people your gifting.
