I read another review saying how quiet this is, but it kept me awake on the high setting its much louder than other humidifiers I've used in the past.

At first I thought there was something wrong with it
because it's invisible cool mist but after speaking with customer service , I found out that it is suppose to be like that. Took a bit to get use to because I like seeing the cool mist but instead it comes out like a fan. It helped my children breath better when they had croup so this for me was a great product!

I use this humidifier in my 2 month old daughter's nursery. It is easy to fill the tank in our bathroom sink, which is very convenient in our house. The one issue is that it runs loudly on the higher speeds. If you like the " white noise" for an infant, it's great, but could be loud in a living space or bedroom.

This is the fourth humidifier I own after a lot of trial and error with other Vicks humidifiers. I use it in my infant's bedroom to keep the air moist, not only when she's sick but on a regular basis.

What I love about it, which was a problem in the others, is:
1. It's very quiet
2. It has the germ-killing technology
3. So far, no foul odors or contaminations found
4. The filter stays very clean
5. It has 3 humidity levels

Some cons, but minor ones:
1. The water tank runs out very fast, you need to refill every day
2. When the water runs out the filter immediately dries out, which means every time you need to rehydrate it. Not a big deal, and definitely better than having to change the filter all the time due to fungus growing.

So all in all - definitely worth the money and highly recommended.
