I was so stressed when introducing formula to my 6 month old. Ater much research I tried this formula and it has been fantastic. My son has had no issue taking it and has had no stomach upset / vomiting. I had read many reviews about it being grainy but when I followed the instructions about mixing with warm water that did not happen at all. It can get a little foamy during feeding but my son still drinks it no problem. I would recommend this brand to anyone beginning to wean off breast milk.

This is the first formula we tried, and so far have little to complain about. My baby is 7 mo and we were worried about transitioning from breastmilk to formula, as I was no longer pumping enough milk at work, so we decided to mix pumped breast milk with formula. After looking at reviews I selected this formula due to it being organic and having DHA. When I mixed up the formula, it really didnt smell great, but we were only used to breastmilk, and there was a grainy residue left on it. Baby took well to it even with the difference in color, smell and i assume texture. A few times we gave him a plain bottle of formula with no supplemented breastmilk, and he downed it no problems. He may just not be a fussy baby, but so far we have had success. The first day or two he seemed a little fussy/gassy, but is perfectly fine now. He still gets breast feedings three times a day, so that may help. We have been satisfied.

It's hard to write a review about something we as adults do not ingest, but if I had to make some general observations about this product, they would be.....a great product if you are looking for organic and hormone free cows milk, from Vermont too. It's nice to know the milk is from a legit farm, not synthetically produced offshore somewhere! My 12 week old is doing more than well on this formula, with the only side effect being a mild case of constipation. She has zero gas, zero rash and eats it happily, although she did the same with other formula brands. It is a bit foamy when mixing, but so what. It also has a strange mentally taste when compared with Earths Best....which in my opinion tasted better....but again, my daughter seemed not to know the difference or have a preferrence. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of options for Organic Formula, especially if you live in a small town like me. I have whittled it down to Vermont Organics or Earths Best and I think they are both breath choices and give good peace of mind. I will continue to buy this product.

We are supplementing with Vermont formula and it has worked out great. This is our fifth child to feed formula and this is the first time our baby hasn't sufferend from constipation and tummy aches. The other 4 were fed several different brands. This time we've gone Organic and there aren't too many choices out there but going with Vermont's formula looks like a great decision. I'm glad to find an organic formula where the
milk comes from the USA as well.
The reason for 4 stars is that I wish this had the dha/ara that doesn't come from Merck or didn't have it at all. My second wish is that all the ingredients came from the USA. I felt better about these two things after talking with Vermont Oraganics and now realize that this is as good as it gets.

The ingredients in this formula are better than the other leading organic brands.i.e. Earth's Best. It is about the same price as similac. It blends better than other formulas as well. There isn't as much bubbles in it after mixing as Similac.
I've used Gerber, Similac, Earth's Best, and Vermont Organics. Vermont Organics is the cheapest and safest for babies outside of breast milk in my non professional opinion.

Not sure about this product. I got it because of all the great reviews on it but I found it grainy. It doesn't fully mix or something. It leaves residue along side the bottle. My baby seemed to be OK with it. This is the 2nd brand of organic formula we tried and she liked the 1st one slightly better. I couldn't get over the graininess of it so I'll probably not order it again.

I love the fact that it is Organic. My newborn does great with it and also getting breast milk too. He has very little spit up.

I bought this to start mixing with breast milk. It mixes well and my baby hasn't reacted at all to the change. I purchased this brand b/c of the ingredient list and b/c I have more trust in a smaller US based company. So far so good.

Our baby (11 months) has no issues with this formula. We love that it's organic and presumably from a small "local" company. The formula sometimes gets stuck in the nipple of the bottle but we've learned to shake it gently from side to side before shaking it up and down. We've never had any issues with availability on diapers.com and the it usually arrives the next day. Great product and great website!

This is the first brand of formula I tried when I lost my milk supply and had to switch over. I like it very much and so does baby. I had to try some other brands for a week when I ran out and found that this was our favorite. The only negative is they use hexane to extract the DHA and ARA.
