          Comments about Hitchhiker:

We figured out how to install the hitchhiker board on our Valco Tri-Mode without too much difficulty. It fits perfectly on the stroller, is easy to adjust the distance to/from the stroller, although we pretty much set it at the longest setting and leave it there. The only "con" is that it rides very close to the stroller, but I suppose this is also a "pro," because we can walk very normally, and have no trouble accidentally kicking it with our feet. One picture we saw had the toddler standing with their head inside the stroller handlebar. Our kids' heads must be bigger than their model child, b/c it was a tight squeeze! Our kids ride on the board with their hands holding on to the stroller handlebar with me.
We have 4 kids and the oldest three all love taking their turns riding it--my husband even lets 2 at a time ride it on smooth terrain, even though it technically exceeds the weight limit! It rides VERY smoothly, over bumps, grass, etc. Wherever you go, it will follow.

This is easy to use and fits the Valco Trimode perfectly. I am not sure why the other reviewer had problems. It was easy peasy to set up.

              Comments about Hitchhiker:

I attached this to my baby trend Double Jogger and it was so easy. I did this with only the instructions in the box. My stroller was not even on the list of strollers that this works with and I still found it very simple to set up and install. My 3 year old will ride on this while I am pushing my twin boys. The wheels are tough to push on to the base, so my husband did that, but I managed to put the attachment and board on my stroller and adjust it so that it works with our stroller and now I have a stroller for three at a pretty reasonable price. LOVE IT!

I wish the base was not made out of plastic, but other than that, it's great!

                Comments about Hitchhiker:

This product is "intended" to be attached to the rear of a stroller so that a toddler can stand and ride. It is made by Valco Baby and is called universal, but it doesn't even fit their own stroller. Their customer service agents are terrible. One sent me a photo to copy because installation was impossible to guess and the instructions were practically nonexistent, but that photo showed it installed incorrectly. The item simply doesn't fit, and they wanted me to jimmy rig it to work. Um...no! Not when my 2 year old is supposed to use it and be safe. The second rep I contacted said they had no instructions and no photos to help me and referred me to the merchant who sold it to me for assistance. That is ridiculous. [...] Please don't waste your money on this or time because odds are you'll be sending it back for a refund like I have done. I can't wait to sell my stroller too because I am totally done with this company. The photo attached is provided from Valco Customer Service. You can see that the bracket at the top should fit flush with the stroller frame. Both are curved, and clearly it was intended to sit this way. However, the stroller frame curves and there is a bolt in the way so there is no space for the bracket to sit flush. Instead, they want me to let it sit half-flush and just tighten, tighten, tighten. This is unreasonable to me.
