Under the Nile Organic Nursing Bra - White

This tank-style nursing bra slips on under a button- down shirt or zip sweater for a great look that also provides easy access for your baby. Or, you can wear a standard nursing bra beneath (straps are wide enough to hide bra straps) and it becomes a cute top. Best of all, Under the Nile practices fair trade and all of their products are made from 100% certified organic (completely chemical-free) Egyptian cotton.

Very short waisted

By Nursing Mom to Be

I really wanted to like this product, as I appreciate anything organic. But this isn't really a bra...it's more like a very short tank top the leaves your stomach awkwardly exposed. If it was shorter, fine (and more bra like), or longer, like a nursing tank. But this is an awkward, in-between, sort of size. Would not purchase again.

Most comfy nursing "bra" ever.

Loved this nursing bra--wore it every night to sleep it, kept the nursing pads in but was not too tight. I did notice that it shrunk quite a bit with use. I bought a medium, but later bought a large b/c the medium was too short after many washings.

Will not hold nursing pads or you...

By Mother of 2 Boys

The design of this "bra" lacks enough stretch and shaping to stay put, even remotely. I've found it very uncomfortable for sleeping because I'm always falling out of it, not to mention that my nursing pads are then out of place and I'm leaking all night. I've gotten mad at it every time I've worn it. It's pretty much useless during the day, too.

i purchased this bra according to the size chart provided and it is way too big so i suggest going one size smaller if you are going to purchase. it gives no support and is difficult to use compared to my other nursing bras

OK for the price...

By new mother

Given that this is so inexpensive, I'm glad I have it and I'll keep it but I would warn any potential purchasers that it is very short and rides up on the belly. I use it to wear to bed but it's not practical for much else.

NO SUPPORT and GAPES OPEN

By Anonymous

Calling this a bra is misleading. You would need a bra under it. And it opens very wide in front. I am not particularly big (38B), but I am having the same problems as the more-endowed ladies. It is far too revealing to wear. I sent it back. It is hard to imagine who this would work for.

low cut and gaping

By Shana,mom of 2 boys

This top is not only low cut but it gapes too. The hem rides up and the fabric shrinks even when it is air dried. The only way I can wear it is as an undershirt and I still have to wear a nursing bra to keep the pads in. The fabric is nice but not worth the hassle.

Not for fuller breasted women!

I am a D, on the verge DD and I fall out of this top. It is annoying and distracting. I do not recommend this top if you fall into this category.

Soft but large

By Melissa, mama of one little one

This fabric is really nice and the idea is great...but I found that a medium was too big for me even though I am a 34 D or larger now. You may want to go down a size.

I agree, complete falling out!

By Katey, mother of 2

The material is great, but there is no support. A large is way too big for a 36 D and any movement has me falling out. My advice is either buy it really small or skip this tank. I'm going to try shrinking it in the dryer...

Good for sleeping

Does not provide any support, however, it is great for around the house or sleeping in - basically, its good for when you need something that will hold breast pads in place but you don't need support and just want comfort.

uncomperable material

By emy,mum of 2 expecting the 3rd

this smooth natural cotton is uncomperable it's the best specialy with summer comming and also when your breast milk is drippling as it's absorbing and make you not feeling sticky.also the design of course is the most suitable for use with brest feeding

No support, and the waist rides up!

By Amanda, mother of 2

I thought it would be a great sleep bra,(it does keep nursing pads in)but what I don't like is that I fall out of the bra while I'm sleeping. Also, the bottom part rides up my tummy,so I'm always pulling at it.The criss-cross on the chest is too low for me.

good fabric, high maintenance

By Anonymous

especially for price bra extremely high quality, thick, soft, absorbent fabric (though a little tight below breasts). mine shrunk upon washing(put in the dryer, against mfr's recs for fabric) so now "falling out" on top - still good bra for night-time.

Comfortable but not supportive. Great for sleeping or lounging. Soft, organic cotton.
