        Comments about Trucks:

I received this as a baby shower gift. Like another reviewer, I thought it was cute but did not realize that this book would captivate my son. This quickly became my son's favorite book. He is now 2 and a half. The illustrations are charming. The book can grow with your child - as he gets older you can count the trees, talk about colors, point out the animals. I have given this plus the 3 others in the transportation series as a first birthday gift. Too bad there isn't one about helicopters.

          Comments about Trucks:

I wasn't thrilled upon looking at this book the first time. The sentences were so matter-of-fact and boring. As I am not a one year old boy, however, I was totally wrong at how great it is. This book quickly became my son's favorite. He points to each truck on every page and say "wheeeeeelzzz". As my husband pointed out, the sentences are exactly how he would describe each scene in real life to our son, "Trucks go through tunnels".
