My newborn burps up formula all the time. The cloths are the best at absorbing the mess. The cloth dries pretty good so all I need is one for the whole week. Sometimes the cloth lasts even longer and it really depends on you if you want to use another one. I love them because less laundry for me to do. Before I only used receiving blankets and they take a very long time to dry up that I have to keep getting a new one. I highly recommend these for parents. The cloths are soft and good for split ups.
