I really wanted to love this mobile when I got it for my shower. The reviews online were great and I was looking forward to having this learning mobile for our son. When we opened the package, I was shocked at how large the mobile and arm were! I am talking amusement park ferris wheel large! Due to the large size it was difficult to clamp the base to the side of the crib. Once clamped the mobile was so large that it only left a few inches between the bottom of the mobile and the mattress!!! There was no room for my child to lay under the mobile! To add insult to injury, the screws in the rear of the mobile, that cover the battery housing ONLY use a TRIANGLE HEAD screwdriver - whaaat? I went to 3, count them 3 stores to find this elusive triangle head screwdriver, only to be looked at like I had 3 heads! Shopping around for a screwdriver with a triangle head is not how I want to spend my time these days. Luckily diapers.com made my return very easy and I was able to trade this non-useful mobile in for something that my baby could actually enjoy.

I really wanted to love this after all of the positive reviews, but after trying it for a few weeks I decided to send it back.

I think it's important to note that this is more of a stimulating than a soothing mobile, at least for my son. Some of the earlier reviews hinted at this, as parents indicated the mobile would entertain their baby for 20 minutes or more. This sounds great in theory, but you don't want it to wake your child up after they fall asleep.

My son sleeps great in his crib at night (he's currently 3 months), but still struggles for naps. Although the mobile would distract him for a bit, he was still mostly freaked out about being in his crib. Furthermore, if I did get him to take a nap in there, the mobile continued to make clunky noises after he would fall asleep (some of the plastic parts continually move which is hard to tell unless you experience it). I also had issues with the music skipping, and overall, the whole thing continuously squeaked and does not turn off unless you return to do it yourself.

I decided I'd rather get an aquarium which I had for my first baby that was much more calming.

We had the tiny love mobile for my first daughter and she LOVED it .. when it finally broke, we bought the newer version for daughter #2. She loves it too! The classical music is fantastic and the colors on the mobile are so engaging. This is by far the best mobile I have ever seen.

I never thought a mobile to get this good. A friend had this and i laid my little one down for a "test drive". it was immediate. my 3 month old is mesmerized by this extravagant play toy. every morning, when i need to tend to other kids, make coffee and shower...Little Edoardo goes into the magical kingdom of Tiny Love. Laughing, stretching, playing--eyes wide as saucers. He just LOVES his new friends. Even bought the travel version which is much more simple but still as fabulous. The best gift ever i'd say. Already ive sent it to two friends who are just as smitten. Love it! thank you designers of this mobile-this is truly a success.

Mu daughter loves it. Some things that it lacks, though:
- a remote controller. It turns off every 20 minutes and you have to go there to turn it back on
- A better support system. We use it in our daughter's pack and play and it was really hard to make it stay put.

Anyways, the movement is great and keeps the baby entertained for more than 40 minutes! :D

My daughter loves this mobile. It lulls her to sleep when she's cranky and keeps her amused other times. She even turns it on herself by pushing the buttons with her feet. It has 2 levels of sound or no sound, three different songs, a choice of a night light or no light and can be used with a toddler without the mobile. I like the music, which is far superior than any other musical baby item i own. I thought there was something wrong with it after a month, but I had just put the batteries in wrong. My daughter is clearly smarter than me. Customer service was fantastic, prompt, friendly and non judgemental. If i had an actual problem i'm sure it would have been resolved easily.

I've been searching for a decent mobile since my daughter was born. Everyone knows that babies like the contrasting colors of black and white. I couldn't find a mobile that had a decent amount of black and white. I refused to waste my money on one I didn't like. I came across this one at a store one evening. I read the box, looked at the picture, and knew it was the one for my baby. It turns out Mommy knows best because she absolutely LOVES this mobile. She will be 11 weeks old tomorrow and has had this on her crib for over 2 weeks, so when she was 9 weeks old. She will stare at it and coo for 20 - 30 minutes at a time. This is one of the BEST items I have bought for her.

The Day Care that I take my son to has this in all of their cribs, they said that all babies love this mobile. I have been having some trouble getting my son to enjoy time in his crib let alone sleep in there, the first night I got this mobile my son fell asleep in his crib and enjoyed the 30 minutes prior to falling asleep, he was watching the mobile and cooing to it. Such a relief for a mother whose son would cry each time he was even laid in his crib.

I bought this mobile for my daughter and sought it out again when my son was born. I love the engaging colors and soothing music. It is captivating for the child and provides the perfect amount of stimulation. Very happy with the product!

Just assembled and placed in the crib our son has hated from day one... he lay in the crib mesmerized for the entire 20 minute play duration without fussing. Amazing!

Can be played with no volume or half volume. So nice to have these options. Our son likes it without music, but loves it with the music.

I got this mobile because it seemed more entertaining than most other mobiles. My 2 month old absolutely loves it! She will watch it intently and will smile and laugh as it moves around. I love it and so does she!

I had one mobile that matches the nursery but it wasn't so nice, so I decided to get a new one. This is awesome! It plays for 20 minutes and keep your baby entertained!

I think the product itself is good, but the motor that runs the rotating part is noisy for me. Maybe I am used to the keyed musical device that does not have this issue because it is just unwinding the spring.

This mobile was recommended to me by a friend. She said it was a "must have" for babies and I have to agree. My daughter absolutely loved this mobile when she was 0-6 months. "Playing" under the mobile became a daily activity she would enjoy. She was mesmerized by the multiple moving pieces, the noises of the mobile (and the music in the mobile), and had fun tracking the easy-to-see pieces. As she got older, she would become incredibly excited and animated underneath it. It is a wonderful stimulation, developmentally-oriented product. Note: this is NOT the mobile to get if you are interested in something to calm your baby before sleep.

my baby LOVES this mobile. we purchased it when she was 2 months old and three months later, it still entertains her. she loves staring at the wonderfully bright colors and following the plush toys around with her eyes. i love that it plays three different classical compositions. this is a must buy for any nursery!
