I use these in our lunch boxes, in my bottle pod to keep the bottles cold while we're out and even in little coolers. They're flexible, so you can wrap them around bottles or in between items in your lunchbox. They lay mostly flat too, that way they don't take up space in your cooler, etc like some of the other bulky ice packs do. I've bought about 20 of these because I always have some in rotation and some in the freezer getting cold (I've also purchased some for my siblings and parents for their lunches & kids, because I like them so much). They don't stay frozen all day or anything, but I'd say they're good for half day outings (under 6 hours or so). One small downside (and the reason I gave it 4/5 stars): like I said, I've had about 20 of these and I have noticed that they do tend to leak after a few months. For some reason there will be a few of the "cubes" that no longer have fluid in them to freeze, but the rest will still be there. It's sorta strange, but I can still use the 6 or so cubes that still have fluid. Not all of mine have done this, but several have. Honestly, you really can't beat it for the price. Even if I have to buy a few new ones a year, they're definitely worth it for the price and the fact that I use them every day.

My laptop computer is 4.5 years old and runs hot. Most of the time I keep it on a desk, on top of a grill framework which somewhat dissipates the heat. I bought 2 9-cube ice mats. I keep them in the freezer overnight. Then when I turn on the laptop, I put one mat on the desk below the grill. About once an hour, I switch the mats (used mat into freezer, freezer mat onto desk). So far the product seems to reduce the hard drive temperature by 10 degrees F, which over time may greatly extend my hard drive's life!

I use this for their snacks or meals on the go. I fold it to freeze to fit in snack bag.
