I recommend the book but for the weary and short of time just buy the video. We got home with our newborn son, had one sleepless night and some constant crying- we popped Harvey Karp's video into the computer and watched it (like 30 minutes) and had a soothed, sleeping son, right after that. He teaches 5 very simple (but not obvious ) tricks to relax a baby to sleep and we even taught our parents how to do these methods and they dont know how they raised kids without it. Truly amazing. No parent should take home a baby without this book and/or video.

This book brought calm and happy back into our home. Happiest Baby offers such a basic and simple approach to dealing with a fussy baby that anyone can be successful. I am just so thankful that my midwife suggested this book and that I actually bought it and read it. I am now the happiest mommy on the block!
