seat is easily adjustable and deserves the 5 star NHTSA ranking it got, but in my Volvo S60 it is tight. If I was a bit taller, it would not work as it presses on both front seats in the rear facing position. Also, if an adult passenger rode in the front seat it would not work. Once the seat is in, I am unable to adjust the seat strap length because the front of the seat presses into the back seat of the car which covers the strap adjuster knob.. The hardest task for me was getting the seat installed in the car where it would not move more than 1 inch or 2 , so the last thing I would want to do is take the seat out to readjust the straps. If the seat fits easily in your car it is a real winner. It is easy to take apart for cleaning which is definitely a new thing.

This item is very easy to use and self explanatory. Once properly installed this car seat will not budge. Its very compact and I use this as a rear facing seat in my Ford Explorer and am able to use the front seats (without the headrest). I have to use a towel underneath in the crease of the seat because of the angle of my seats. I am using it for a long road trip that is 24 hours long and it gives me the option of a lot of padding. They provide padding inserts that are not flimsy and are extremely easy to remove. There is no threading of anything not even for the padding. This seat is push button. I like the rebound bar idea for this seat and would use it if I didnt have to have the seat behind the driver's seat at this time. It reclines extremely well and the cover is very soft and well made. Nice easy latch system and if you have to use the seatbelt like I do, it is extremely to install and you do not have to stick your hand through tiny places and crawl over the seat and pull and pry because of the way the seat cover and seat are made. It is definitely user friendly. Being someone who didn't see a point paying more than the cheapest car seat, my grandma made me purchase this seat for my long move and I will never buy any seat but one like this again. WORTH EVERY PENNY
