Comments about Sure Comfort Newborn to Toddler Tub:

For awhile this product was perfect. The sling held him safetly and then I placed him in the infant side of the tub. But as he got older and began to wiggle more I have to hold his butt or he slides past the hump. The first time this happened I was horrified because he slid he was almost submerged in the tub. He got water in his ears and I feared he would get and ear infection. This tub does not drain well either. I am definitly going to buy another tub.

My son is comfortable in the tub and it's easy to clean...however it does not drain the dirty water well. I have to take my son out of the tub and pour out the dirty water.

I used this when I visited my in-laws and I LOVED this tub. My son just turned 3 months old and is starting to have better head control and this allows him to sit in the tub and I feel like he won't slip to the side. Has a nice cushion for the back for comfort.

Comments about Sure Comfort Newborn to Toddler Tub:

I bought this tub in a store because it was the only one they had and I needed one quickly for my 1 month old son (now 4 months). It got the job done, but on the infant side you have to constantly keep a hand on their rear end (especially if you have a kicker like mine) because it comes out of the seat and they slide into the water. The seat was made at to sharp an angle for a babies bottom to stay in there. When I bathed him in this tub I always had to be careful and bath him with one hand (while the other stayed on his tush). Potentially dangerous. I plan on purchasing the Euro tub here.

Comments about Sure Comfort Newborn to Toddler Tub:

This tub is great for small babies, but my son is now 26 1/2 inches, though he's only 4 months old (tall baby!). I've found that the infant side is too small for him, but the toddler side puts him in an uncomfortable position - he's not quite sitting up yet, but his legs are so long that this tub is on its way out already. the hump in the middle was helpful at first, but i wish it was removable.

Comments about Sure Comfort Newborn to Toddler Tub:

Honesty, it worked out, but it gets a thumbs down from me. It fits in the sink (huge huge plus), drained in the sink very easily, rinsed out easily, never got moldy (rinsed after each use), dried fast, was light-weight, was easy to maneuver, and seems very durable.

The problem with it I found was the newborn sling that came with it really never worked well (my son was not heavy enough to weight it down enough to get wet at all! Even loosened completely. 7 pounds) so I took it out and kept trying to use it sometimes but never could til he was big enough to remove it. Because of that it took two people to bath him as a new newborn. One to keep him from flopping and slipping everywhere, the other to wipe him down..

I also think it's a design flaw that the hump is not removable. After he got too big for the infant side I switched him to the toddler side and it seemed to me he was put in a quite unnatural position. It was also impossible to slide him forward or up at all to clean his rear end and crotch on the toddler side (was ok on the infant side) so I had to pick him up out of the water. Wet slippery baby out of the water like that over a sink - is not safe without someone helping you.

As soon as he could sit unassisted very reliably, I took him out of that tub and into the big tub. He wouldn't have fit in the tub much longer anyway, because with the hump there his legs barely had enough room at 8 months old.

It was OK, since I had help, but I would say overall thumbs down.

Comments about Sure Comfort Newborn to Toddler Tub:

We're still using this tub for our 25lb toddler (16mos) and dreading the day she grows out of it-- it is so easy and convenient to bathe her in the sink and uses so much less water than the big tub!

What is not pictured here is the infant sling (mentioned in the product write-up). It's great! It holds the little one in the water safely when baby is too young to sit or hold up that big head. When they are a bit bigger, you pop the mesh sling out and bathe them on the incline side. When they hit the age where they are sitting and playing in the water, like my girl is now, you flip them around and sit them in the "toddler" side where they can sit up straight.

This tub has no fancy bells and whistles, which is perfect! It is easy, durable, dries fast, on piece that is easy to clean, and safe. My daughter loves the water and gets a bath every day. We've literally used this tub almost every day for the last 15+months, and it is still in great condition.

Comments about Sure Comfort Newborn to Toddler Tub:

I really liked this tub. I got it as a baby shower gift and used it from the time that my son could get baths (after his belly button fell off) until he was about seven months old. The tub dries quickly and is contoured to keep the baby in place. With that being said, my son, who was 27.25 inches at 6 1/2 months, out grew it. I knew I needed a bigger tub when he was sitting in it diagonially to make more room for his legs. In some tubs, the hump in the middle comes out of the tub to make more room. However, this tub does not have that feature.

Therefore, my suggestion would be for you to get it for younger babies, but eventually you will need to get a bigger tub.
