I love this diaper pail and it's filters! I used the Diaper Champ with my first child and it was alright but it smelled. When I got pregnant with my second child I went on the hunt for a decent diaper pail that didn't smell or need special bags. I found the Clean Air and I love it! You can use regular trash bags and the filters really work. My daughter is 9 months old and I just changed the filter for the second time. It does use batteries but find a household with a baby that doesn't have a million batteries stockpiled! I am truly disappointed that the First Years discontinued this product. My sister is pregnant with her first baby and I insisted she get this diaper pail. I just bought several filters so in case they stop selling them we will both have some backups. I have 2 other sisters with babies and they are considering getting rid of their Diaper Champs and getting the Clean Air. In summary, this is a great product and buy it if you can find it!!
