I was terribly disappointed with this kit!! As first-time parents, my husband and I are always looking for ways to be adequately prepared to meet the needs of our son. This seemed like an ideal kit from a company with a good reputation. Boy were we wrong!! The aspirator is made of a very hard material that makes it almost impossible to use. The nail clipper is not safe. I must admit, however, that our little one did enjoy the rattle. I won't comment on every tool in this kit BUT for the price you could definitely get better tools with an even better rattle!!!

I register for this item. And when I received I thought it would be a great thing as it come with many items. The nail clippers I don't use because it will cut my baby skin. I used the file but they are cheap so I bought a new filer. The nasal aspirator is too tough to use the plastic is hard so squeezing it is not easy. As most moms know babies don't like their noses to be cleaned so it would help if I could squeeze quickly and get done with cleaning fast. Brush didn't work as it just run over my baby's hair. Although he has a head full of hair so it's really not a fit. The thermometer is flimsy and slow at reading temp. Honestly I've tried all of the items and they are just poorly constructed.
Don't buy this go out and buy things with better construction

This was a product that I was very excited about... It's sad to say that I was very disappointed. I never use any of it, it takes up a lot of space in my diaper bag, the nail clippers are very difficult to use (I ended up cutting my daughter with them :(), and the nasal aspirator is terrible. I only used the Comb and the Brush out of it. I wouldn't recommend this product to anybody. Your best bet would be to go and buy the items individually.

Nice to have a variety of tools. We used one of the items to administer breast milk that was pumped during breast feeding challenges in the first two weeks. We also get a lot of use out of the brush and thermometer. I imagine we'll use other tools as the need arises. The aspirator is hard to use at first but easy to clean. The nail clippers are junk.

These products are poorly made and difficult to use. The only item we use are the emory board and hair brush.

I'm glad I bought this kit instead of comparable products. All the items in the kit are useful and good quality. The only exception would be the thermometer and aspirator. But hospitals usually send babies home with their own aspirator and there's no kit like this with a better thermometer. You could buy an individual thermometer if you really wanted to, but I think that for occasional use, this one is fine.

We received this as a shower gift and I now give it to people at every baby shower we attend! We've used something out of the kit almost daily since baby was born - she's 17 months now.

The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars are that the brush doesn't work well for babies with even slightly thick hair (though it's a great play brush for baby because it doesn't fray yarn doll hair) and the pin on the nail clipper has started falling out - but it worked well for the first 16 months and is the only one we have used so far.

My favorite thing about the kit is that we travel a lot and the bag it comes in has plenty of room for her baby medicines and some lotions, etc. Makes it easy to pick up and go!

I can't recommend this set. You'd be better off buying higher-quality individual items. The toothbrush is too hard, the thermometer doesn't work, the aspirator doesn't work. The nail clippers are really difficult to use. The baby's not interested in the rattle. We use the hairbrush, and that's it.
