Comments about Pocket Pouch Mahogany Magnetic Blocks (8 pc):

We have a large set of these blocks and we keep them on the fridge for now. Our kids, 3 and 12 mo, reach for them every day and I'm sure they will continue to do so for many years to come as their creativity and skills develop. And we love the back story of the product!

Comments about Pocket Pouch Tegu Tints Magnetic Blocks (8 pc):

I love these blocks. I wish we had more of them. But they are out of our price range for now. We will probably splurge on another bigger set for a birthday or holiday. They ARE worth the money, because they are fun, versatile, simple creative toys that are REALLY sustainably made. One reviewer said she thought they were worth less than $10. That's possible if you abuse both the forests that produce the wood for and the workers that create these toys. They're costly because they are a niche market thing. If you want plastic junk made by children in China, you have most of the toy market already. These are beautiful and arty and so they cost more.

Maybe when we get a big tax refund!

Comments about Pocket Pouch Jungle Magnetic Blocks (8 pc):

I bought these for my 15 month old before we went on a long plane trip and he is fascinated by these blocks! The wood is high quality with powerful magnets inside that make a gratifying snap when they pop together. It's been the perfect totable for restaurants and trips as their are enough pieces to build with but not to lose and very handy in the cute case it comes in. I am very picky about what toys I buy and these have been a great success!

These blocks are cute and my kids love them but for [$]?!?! I expected a lot more. This is something that I would be excited about for $10 (and even that would be expensive for what you are getting)

Comments about Pocket Pouch Tegu Tints Magnetic Blocks (8 pc):

These blocks are fantastic! The magnets on the longer planks are self aligning, and that being said, I wouldn't recommend these for a child younger than two because the magnets are pretty powerful and can sometimes catch the very tip of a fingertip pad and give a little pinch... nothing painful really, but would shock and probably scare a younger child. My two year old simply pulls her finger out on the rare occasion, but has never been deterred from playing with them.

              Read description first!

Comments about Pocket Pouch Tegu Tints Magnetic Blocks (8 pc):

I ordered these without paying much attention to the description, since I was buying them for a pair of two-year olds and they were the yoyo top pick for a two-year old. I was a bit surprised when they actually arrived since they are tiny! I know it said "pocket pack" but I wasn't expecting a gift for such a young child to be so small! Perhaps I'm overreacting since I don't have kids myself, but my first thought was that they would lose them immediately. I'm going to give them a try since the reviews are so good but had I known I wouldn't have spent so much money on such a small gift for this young age.
