I had purchased this for my sone when he was around 18 months and approx 29lbs, 31 inches. It has WAAAAY too many moving parts as all he wanted to do was play with it and take it apart. Also, the seat just seemed very small and he looked silly sitting on it. Needless to say, I gave it to a friend with a smaller girl and opted for something else. Maybe it would be better for her?

I got this for my daughter when she insisted on potty training at 19 months--too little to sit on a big toilet with a seat. I kept it in the bathroom before she started training and she sat on it whenever I went, and then when we took the plunge we moved it to our (large) kitchen so it was centrally located and on easy to clean floor.

This product worked really well for us, and I really liked how easy it is to clean--all the pieces come out and fit together easily. I never used the attached TP roll (too tempting for little fingers who like to unravel) and the attached wipes storage is a good idea, but they dry out easily. I didn't get it for those features, I just wanted an easy to clean, sturdy, non-princess themed potty and this fit the bill!

My daughter just turned three and we still use this in the back of my SUV for when public potties aren't available or convenient. Will be buying another one whenever my younger daughter decides she's ready to begin.
