I got this for my son and when it worked it was good. It is would cut out every little bit for a second but it worked. However about 9 months after using it the cord for the end in my sons room would no longer work. I talked to the company and they sent me a new cord. Well shortly after it made a year the other cord went. It has a one year deal so I no longer qualified. It just did not last.

This monitor is pretty easy to use and picks up baby's sounds, but it is NOT voice/sound activated and is always projecting sound when turned on. The sound is not clear, it is fuzzy and staticy. Range is not the problem, as baby was only in the next room, but it is too loud to even sleep in the same room with this monitor. Our other monitor was sound activated, and I've realized this is a very important feature to me. We tried to re-sync it, but it did not affect anything.

I got this device after our first monitor had too much static and continually beeped. A week after purchasing and I LOVE this system. It is so clear that I can hear the baby breathing, which sooths my nerves as a first time parent. I read other reviews stating that the blue light on the monitor is too bright. I have it right next to my head and the brightness does not bother me one bit. This system has given me restful nights knowing that I can clearly hear my baby.
