We really liked it. We used it a little past when our daughter could sit up on her own. She really liked it too and would just relax in the bath. We'd fill up our tub so that her butt was submersed in the water while sitting in this bath chair. It did seem difficult to clean and we did end up throwing ours out in the end, but we didn't have a washer/dryer in our apartment at the time so I think if we had been able to wash it more frequently it would have been fine. If we have another child I would get this again.

This bather worked well except that the fabric began to smell moldy - kind of like a dirty wet sponge. I washed the cover repeatedly but the smell didn't go away. Our whole bathroom smelled yucky. We ended up buying a molded plastic seat after several months.

I felt I needed this when she was a a tiny baby. However you have to hold the baby up with one hand because the seat isn't. Then you're trying to hold the slippery baby up while you put soap in your hand and wash. It's a joke. I wanted it for sink bathing. That didn't work out. I ended up with a hard tub that had a sling in it. Then we graduated to the inflatable duck bath.
