      Best Uses

Comments about Lullaby Soother - Max Monkey:

I bought this monkey so that my little one would have some soothing lullabies to fall alseep to. The glowing night light feature was an added bonus.. and the reason why I chose this instead of the sleep sheep or that turtle that projects starts on the ceiling.

The monkey is a decent size, seems pretty soft and my little guy (who's just learning to sit up on his own) seemed pretty entertained when I put it on the floor in front of him...HOWEVER
the one reason that I initially bought this was for the lullaby, which is TERRIBLE! It is a super cheezy saxaphone rendition of some easy listening song that I have never heard of. I wasn't expecting a symphony or anything, but I was prepared for some music box type twinkle twinkle little star or something. This instead is so irritating..it sounds like some sad version of a Kenny G song that you would hear while on hold with your insurance company. Awful.
The good news is that there are multiple settings so we could use it as just a night light (without sound) or with the ocean sounds. So, I guess we're going to keep it, but I was so dissapointed in that crazy "lullaby"

Oh, and we also bought the "Slumber buddies" Frog, also by summer infant and I couldn"t believe it...SAME SONG! I don't know what Summer infant was thinking. At least the frog has about 4 songs to choose from, but still. Awful.
