I'm not one for writing reviews but I do rely on these swaddlers. My son is 8 months old and he still uses them because otherwise he scratches himself and rubs his eyes a lot and wakes himself up ( and than wakes me up because he starts crying). We havent gone a single night without using them. Much easier to use than a regular blanket you fold up into a swaddler.

I'm not a fan of these. Maybe my twins don't fit them out properly yet, but the velcro is annoying. The area in which the velcro adheres doesn't allow for much adjustment. I prefer the Halo swaddle sleepsacks. Unlike these, my kids don't even try to escape!

We were given one of these at our baby shower and tried it the first week we brought our son home. He loved it! He is now a month old and we have bought three more of them. The velcro is loud but that is because it is the strong stuff and doesn't loosen. It has a hole on the back for slipping the buckle of any seat through so you can swaddle them in their car seat.
The microfleece is very warm, we have to leave our son naked underneath when he wears that one. If you want one he can wear clothes in go with the cotton knit.

I am a mother of triplets and I put my babies in these when they were 2 months old. They started sleeping 5 hours at a time the first night they were in these! They are now 4 months and consistently sleep 9 or 10 hours at night. I just ordered the large size. I only wish I had started using them earlier!!

My baby won't sleep anyway except being swaddled. Originally we did it with a blanket- however she would wiggle out of it so we bough this.
PROS: kept her secure- tabs didn't come undone and warm
CONS: as she grew, and still within the weight range for this size, her legs would be too long for the bottom half and they would be bunched up for the night. Also the velcro pieces were in a weird location so it would be kind of "twisted" on her. Also the tabs are so secure that they make a really loud noise and makes nighttime feedings a headache

We started using this right when our son came home. He would startle himself awake. He was colicky for the first few weeks, and keeping him tightly wrapped seemed to help during his screaming fits. It's easier to have 2 of them, so one could be washed and still have the other to use. Since it's polyester, lots of use did result in some pilling of the material.

I have nothing but praise for the Baby Swaddler! Newborns are much calmer and sleep longer when they are swaddled. Our son began wriggling out of his receiving blankets at about 3 weeks, no matter how tightly we swaddled him, and he would wake himself up several times a night. We switched to these swaddlers and he immediately began sleeping through the night (8 hours straight). They saved precious time also, compared to traditional blanket swaddling. I wish I would have known about this product when I was caring for triplet infants....this would be an absolute must for parents of multiples for time-saving alone! (This is the one item that I give at every baby shower.)
