Our baby started out as a great sleeper and then around 7 weeks went into a horrible phase of waking every 2 hours for 3 weeks straight. Out of sheer desperation I ordered the Summer Swaddle in hopes that maybe a tighter swaddle than we were already doing may help. The very first night she slept 9 hours straight, and has done so every night since. This keeps them snug as a bug, and the velcro is strong to prevent even the strongest babies from breaking the "seal" on the swaddle. Worth EVERY penny!

I used these when I first brought my twin girls home and they loved it. I would wrap them at night and they seemed to know it was time for a longer sleep, rather than a shorter nap. But as much as we loved the swaddle, my girls decided on their own that they were done with swaddling, so we no longer use them. However, we found the swaddles to be light, breathable and turns your baby into the cutest baby burrito you've ever seen. :-)

The only drawback I found is in laundering: you have to remember to fasten all the Velcro tabs down or other clothing items will stick while in the wash and could potentially ruin the item.

My second baby just loves being swaddled and often requires it to get to sleep. We were just using a blanket, but now that she's a big and strong three month old she was bursting free from the blanket no matter how tightly we tried to secure her. Anyway, a few times she broke out and we'd find the blanket over her face and we knew we had to change something. This product is perfect for her! I love that it's lightweight, so if it's cold we put her in a fleece sleeper or if it's warm she can just wear a onesie underneath. It's super easy to use, and so quick to get her in that it works well even if she falls asleep in our arms we can usually get her swaddled and in the crib without waking her. I'm so glad this exists, she's so comfy in it and I'm not worried she's going to get a blanket trapped on her face.

Before I purchsed this swaddle I used the miracle blanket, which I loved. It was recommended to me by a friend and it helped my daughter sleep through the night (i.e. midnight till 8am) by 2.5 months of age. I saw the Summer Infant Kiddopotomus swaddle and decided to try it.
What I like about this swaddle compared to the miracle blanket is that it is much lighter in weight, better for summertime. But still very nice quality. Also, you dont have to wrap it around your baby multiple times, which is helpful when you are puting your baby to bed and you don't want to stir them awake. I like the easy velcro-like closures. In addition I like the fact that I have the option to leave her arms out while her lower half is swaddled. (She likes to sleep with her arms above her head sometimes:) Overall I am very happy with this swaddle.

This worked great with my baby when she was smaller, but now that she has graduated to size large(13 lbs), it is not big enough or strong enough to hold her. The velcro came undone and she was able to bust right out. Only thing that works for us now is the Miracle Blanket.

I love this product. My little girl would kick herself awake when we brought her home from the hospital. This product allowed her to sleep better. We never put her arms in it because she wanted them out, but it was easy to put under them.

I use this product with my two month old daughter. I put her in it for naps and for bed time. She actually cannot seem to sleep without it. It keeps her arms inside so she does not get frustrated when she can't get her hands in her mouth and she does not scratch herself and wake herself up. Plus, it makes her feel secure!
