In an attempt to get our 17 month old to voluntarily brush her teeth I ordered this toothbrush since it seemed very different then your typical toothbrush. She actually enjoys chewing on it and brushing with it and can't pull out any of the bristles like she does with standard ones. So now she chomps away on it when we are reading bedtime books!

When I brush my sons teeth he really likes when I use the finger toothbrush because it feels good on his gums. He starts to bite down when I use it on it gums. I think it feels good to him when he is teething. It is not too big where I can't get in any spots. It is just like I am using my finger, but works better because it feels good for him, doesn't hurt me when he starts biting, and also doesn't is not big and bulky so it get the same spots as if I was using just my finger.

We bought this because my 16 month old likes to brush her own teeth but doesn't do the best job. This barely fits on my finger and she's not a fan of it either. I like the idea but overall it's not working for us.

This is a nice little starter toothbrush and our son really enjoys the feel of it. My only complaint is that it's quite small and doesn't fit a larger finger. It fits my index finger just right (my ring size is 5.5), but is too small for my husband's larger fingers.
