I wasn't sure if this monitor would work as it says it does, and the price made me doubt it, as some negative comments also did... But a friend of mine recommended it so much, so I bought it. I live in a 2 floor, 900 sq. ft apartment and it works PERFECT! I know it's not a very big apartment, but so far it has worked for me as I expected it to...

The camera is always on and I have the big monitor in my bedroom connected to the wall, that way I am able to see my baby at all times if he's in his crib.. specially at night I like to see that he's ok, I don't turn the volume on because I can hear his cries easily since his bedroom is beside mine.. and the small one I bring it down with me, and if I hear cries I just turn the video on to see what's going on..

I really recommend this product!! love everything about it, have taken it to trips and still works perfect :)

Received this monitor from a family member and we use this every day for naps and for night. It really is beneficial to not only hear your baby but being able to see her really sets your mind at ease. Love this and would recommend this to all new parents. Never had any issues with sound or display.

one of the best products we purchased for our baby. although there might be some static interference, i can hear my baby crystal clear. if she even moves or makes a slight sound, i hear her. quality is great, sound is clear, and picture is great as well. during the day, it is in color and at night, the pciture is very clear as well. i also love the portable one for when i take a shower. great buy. expensive so put it on your registry.

We use this in our two-story flat. We use the flat screen in our bedroom and the handheld in our media room on the 2nd floor. I tis great to have access to her on any floor and be able to see her movement as she is now 7mos and moving around a lot in the crib. This eases our mind as to her safety and if she is ready to get up without disturbing her. I recommend getting a second camera for a main play area or additional nap area.

We've owned this monitor for about 18 months. It worked well at first but the static on both the screen and audibly are pretty bad. It does work to show if the baby is sleeping or crawling around but the monitor produces so much static noise that it's incredibly annoying to have turned up at all. The lights indicating noise in the room are constantly lit up but it's due to the static feedback. I do appreciate the large monitor size but I'd take a tiny picture that was clear over a large screen any day. We do live in a large city in a large house that has a router, etc. so that may be part of our problem but I wasn't impressed. Wouldn't buy this one again...

I've had this product for 2 years. We live in a fairly rural/light suburban area, so I was not concerned with other reviews mentioning static interference. However, this has been a problem since a month or two after using the monitor. Random white noise interference is very common and now after 2 years, became intolerable. With another baby due in a few days, we decided to do some research and bought the Mobi digital monitoring system. No static at all. Small screen size, but much more portable (rechargeable batteries too).

What a beautiful screen, keeps me up at night looking at my baby. However, we live on 19th floor of high rise in nyc so static and interference is always an issue. Wish this came in digital format... I solve the problem by using Avent's digital monitor alongside. So basically, i no longer have a bedside table - just baby gadgets!!

I LOVE this product. It is a little expensive but well worth it. We bought a used video monitor that had issues so we decided to buy a new one and opted for this one. We chose this one because it had a "flat" monitor and a handheld monitor. With an infant, the only time I can shower is when she's napping. I take the handheld one in the shower with me. I have also taken it out to the mailbox with me and it still works. Both monitors are very clear and even in color during the day. I can even hear her breathing if the volume is up. I wouldn't trade this for anything. I only wish I had it when she was first born. It would of saved us lots of worrying. We have a wireless router and cell phones and they don't interfere at all. There are times when the handheld monitor gets a little static but not very often. The handheld also, when not plugged in, shuts the screen off after 30 sec to help preserve the battery. You turn it back on with a button on the top. You can even plug it into your tv via AV cables. Again, LOVE IT!!!!
