My daughter is 16 months old and cannot wear these shoes because she cannot walk in them. The shoes are SO slipperly that she cannot stand up straight on wood/tile floors. The shoes have a felt sole and make it very difficult to walk on a smooth surface like wood, tile, linoleum, or concrete. My daughter is an active walker (evening running now). I am disappointed that she cannot wear them.

My Daughter is 2 and wears Striderite size 6.5- 7 sneakers. These 7's seem to fit long although I checked the insoles and they're the same as her size 7 sneakers. Easy to put on. Very sparkly but the color is already rubbing off the lower sequins after only 2 hours indoors. The toe embellishment is a silk chrysanthemum, not tulle. Still cute though.
The rubber soles are nice and flexible but are covered with a flocking. This would be excellent for dancing, but not great for running. the flocking would probably wear off after a few minutes on the sidewalk though.
Overall they are super cute but not leather and the style fits a bit large. my daughter loves them but I'll wait until her feet are a little bigger before making them part of her wardrobe.
