Comments about Aspen Combo Dresser - Cherry:

This item is actually prettier than the picture shown. It has a nicer sheen. I thought it was a pretty good piece at first, despite missing hardware. None of the screws were included to attache the door on ours. I eventually went out and bought some to install the door. It held up pretty well for a few months, then one to the drawers began to fall off the track. We moved after 11 months of use and I believ the movers did a good job. I have several antique pieces that didn't get a scratch. This piece however is now falling apart like [@]. The backing popped off. The rear rail busted loose. And one of the side supports has come out so it no longer feels safe to put my son on and the two lower drawers won't sit on the guides any more. If I wanted [@] quality I would have gone there and saved the money. Really disapointed with the quality after use. It was so pretty that I had planned on using it as a buffet eventually. Now I have to get a new changing table.

Comments about Aspen Combo Dresser - Cherry:

The best thing about this dresser was the price and the way it looks. It looks really nice, but the quality is not great. The drawer rollers could be smoother, and the wood is not great quality. It took my husband about 3 hours to put together, so it is a chore. He told me some of the pieces did not fit very well together, and while it is not overly obvious (thank goodness), it is demonstrative of the poor quality. I am not sure how well this dresser will hold up, and it may need to be replaced as my child grows older. I wish I would have had the patience to order the same dresser I bought for my daughter, which was $50 more, came pre assembled and is much sturdier and made with better wood.

I found it was not that difficult to assemble despite what others are saying. The entire dresser is assembled using just one tool.

Some of the parts are hardwood while others are plywood with verneer on. I found the verneer to scratch very easily.

I also got the matching changing table and crib and they look great as a set!

We got this dresser to use for our first baby. I love it! My husband put it together because of the bad reviews. But he said it was easy to put together. I think it is beautiful and has a lot of room to hold clothing, blankets, etc. The only thing I noticed about it was the top seems to scratch pretty easily. We'll probably just find a wood marker and cover them up. Anymore, they just don't make furniture like they used to, and we wouldn't have gotten any better quality had we gone to a furniture store and spent hundreds more.

this dresser is a great value for the money. although the directions were difficult to follow, the finished result is well worth the frustration. it is very strong and the drawers slide very easily (reading other reviews on this product before I bought it helped me make my decision, i definitely agree that the drawers are high quality!!) the dresser looks like a much nicer piece of the furniture than you would expect in this price point.

Comments about Aspen Combo Dresser - Cherry:

Good dresser with lots of storage space. We use it as a changing table too, and it's great. The color goes well with our DaVinci cherry crib.

It was difficult to assembly but we managed and I think it's worth it.

I will note that the wood used for it seems cheaper, so don't expect heavy solid wood. But it's still good quality if you don't want to spend too much on nursery furniture. We've had it for 4-5mo and there have been no wear and tear evident yet, we're happy with our purchase.

Overall we are very happy with this purchase. The color is a beautiful dark cherry color and matches our crib very well. The biggest complaint we have are all of the parts/pieces that came with this piece of furniture and the amount of time that it took for my husband to put it together! Just make sure you have plenty of time to put it together and you will be fine. We're definitely happy with our purchase though, especially for the price!

This dresser/combo unit really was a good buy for us. It matches the Kalani cherry crib we purchased. We haven't officially used it yet, but it seems sturdy and I like the drawers and cabinet. We are going to double it up as a changing table. The pad fits with plenty of room for a basket of changing supplies. The only con is that the assembly instructions weren't very accurate, but my husband and I assembled it in about an hour. Overall, I think it is a good product!

Comments about Aspen Combo Dresser - Cherry:

I've only just finished assembly, so I know nothing of durability and how it will handle wear and tear, but this piece looks great. The picture on this site looks more espresso than it actually it is. It is a darker cherry. I got it to go with my Emily crib by DaVinci (in cherry) and they look great together! Unlike comments I've seen on the Emily combo, the shelf in this cabinet does extend fully from front to back.

I am 8 months pregnant and assembled this on my own. The hardware was all in one bag, and there is a lot of it so it is important to separate it all and do inventory first. I was missing 4 screws to attach the door, which I will request from the manufacturer, otherwise everything was in great shape. Frustrating was that only 4 of the 34 wood pieces were labeled. I definitely recommend laying everything out in order first to save yourself time digging for something later on.

This seems like a good piece of furniture. The fronts of doors and drawers and the accent pieces are all hard wood. As to be expected from something of this price point the rest is particle board. All in all I am very pleased and hope that it holds up over time.
