We use this instead of a highchair for the look and the fact that it pulls right up to the table. It looks great with our modern kitchen and our 7 month old fits great in it. I also like the convenience of being able to take it to restaurants that may not have a highchair. We also put a friends 15 month old in it and it worked great!
The thing we don't love about it is that the seat is pretty slippery. It is fine when our daughter is strapped into the five-point harness but as soon as you release the buckle you have to hold onto her so she doesn't slide right off onto the floor, which would be a big drop from the kitchen chair. I am ordering the seat cushion to help with this problem, but wish I would have known when I purchased it to get the cushion as well.
I would definitely recommend this product because it is easy, convienient and looks great!
