i tried the synthetic filled one, and it wasn't bad in light of how expensive this one is....this one is nice and squishier. I'm not happy that it leaks feathers after 1 months use, the cover being hard to put on and poor construction.

i'd actually prefer this be one long shape and not have the curve in it so that it was more elegant looking.

I have been using this pillow since I was about 12 weeks into my pregnancy, and it was well worth the investment! The shape of it is perfect to use as a head pillow and front support, as well as between the knees. I use a regular pillow on my right side so that when I turn over I don't have to move the whole Snoozer (but can still use the top of the "J" shape as a head pillow). I have particularly loved it as a former stomach sleeper; this pillow helps me feel like I am on my stomach, while my belly is supported in the super-soft pillow! Only drawbacks are that it does lose feathers and down (as all down pillows seem to), and that the pillow cover is not a very high thread count (a bit scratchy, but softens with washing).

I was on bedrest for 21 weeks of my pregnancy and wouldn't have made it through without this pillow... even the nurses in the hospital fell in love with this pillow and recommended it to the other ante-partum patients in other rooms. Now that I've had the baby, I've had to buy my husband his own pillow to keep him from taking mine! Worth every penny!!

I was worried that the goose down pillow might be too soft, as many down pillows are quite flat, but it is very full and more supportive than I ever figured down could be. Not a problem in queen size bed. I don't seem to take up any more room curled up with the snoozer than I do just side sleeping with my knees bent. I figured when I bought this pillow that I'd continue using my tempurpedic pillow for my head, but the snoozer is so comfy that the tempurpedic has been kicked out of the bed.

This pillow is very comfortable- the cover is soft, not scratchy, and the pillow gently gives support while not being too firm. The "J" shape is a little awkward, but worth it to have a great maternity pillow.

This pillow is so wonderful. I'm pregnant with my second, and I used about five standard pillows throughout my first pregnancy. Positioning them throughout the night kept me awake longer than I liked, and I was still sore in the morning. I'm now almost six months pregnant and have had the pillow for two weeks. I don't know how I lived without it. Because it's down, it's very comfortable, plush, and easy to position. It feels very natural to be sleeping on your side with this pillow.

I got the goose down version for Mother's Day. I could hardly sleep a wink before the arrival of this pillow, because I was so uncomfortable. It was just what I needed to be able to stay on my side. The only downside is that my husband actually steals it from me in the night sometimes. He has apparently discovered he likes having a pillow between his knees. I might have to buy another one for him for Father's Day. Anyway , this thing was expensive, but worth every penny, in my mind.
